Firstly, yes, there will be! The enemies, especially the Boss ones, will have gear on them. Including Magical Items. So, keep that in mind when your in Combat.
Secondly, I agree, Unforgotten Realms Live is Hilarious.

From what I uinderstood they used the tabltetop simulator for this, maybe I'll get this during the next big steam sale, maybe we also could play a round then (Provided that you have this too of course XD)

No, I don't have TTL. I don't know too many people on Steam, especially not from here. But, perhaps for Christmas I'll pick it up and try to find some people (Including you) that have interest in Unforgotten Realms Live.
