Well I've tried to make it go away on my videos, but there's no away around it. If you want a "clean" screencap, you'll have to do it while the video is playing.

The bar doesn't disappear when you press Pause. I have hit PrtScrn while the video is playing, to avoid that very problem. That solution is not ideal, but as far as I know it's either that or get the playback bar.

I've noticed that recently, on Youtube, the time/controls bar at the bottom of the screen doesn't automatically disapear when I pause the video. Because of this, I'm having trouble taking "clean" screenshots, since the bar covers the bottom of the screen.
Does anyone know why this has started and how to change it back to disapearing like it used to? Thanks!
