Ugly notion here. Since Craig McCracken has the hit Wander over Yonder for Disney Animation, he's considered a defector from Cartoon Network. And, by extension, his wife can no longer be trusted. Super Best Friends Forever might have been given a pilot run otherwise, but Craig and Lauren are viewed as Disney spies by Cartoon Network, so anything she ventures is going to be met with "nyet." And since Warner Brothers own DC Comics, Lauren can't take those characters with her anywhere else. Sorry, peeps, Orphaned Series.
Didn't WB allow their various DC cartoons to air on the Hub, though?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Nah. People move around so much in animation there's not really anything like that kind of notion of loyalty to the studio owner, or that kind of secrecy at the broadcast level. Say you're working at Nickelodeon. It's not uncommon at all to see people bringing their friends through who happen to work for Disney and showing them all the cool stuff being worked on. This is done usually with merely an informal handshake non-disclosure agreement that most people in the biz have no problem agreeing to, because there's a good chance in a few years you may be applying for a job at that studio. A person's professional reputation follows them more closely than their employment history, as far as things like this go, especially because networking is so important to being an artist. You get jobs by your friends at the studio vouching for you; leaking stuff you saw while they were giving you a tour is the best way to ensure they wont.

And Lauren's legacy is writing for PPG and Fosters, and creating Friendship is Magic.

I *did* say there were exceptions.
Actually, Steven Universe also debuted in 2013, so its possible that Cartoon Network turned down SBFF in favor of Steven Universe (an original IP made by an Adventure Time alumni starring a female power trio). That's...not a bad thing, Steven Universe is a great, progressive show that proves that Cartoon Network isn't out of good ideas or creators. Lauren could have very well run into the same problems with DC on SBFF that she ran into with Hasbro on My Little Pony, so this could have been for the best.
Or we could have gotten both shows and everyone is happy, but what's done is done.
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!Isn't Steven Universe one of the Exceptions rather than the Darlings? I certainly don't see ads for it. I do see plenty of Uncle Grandpa, Clarence and Teen Titans Go ads, not so much Adventure Time, Regular Show, or Steven Universe, certainly no Sonic Boom or Transformers ads.
Only a matter of time...
Beware of occasional bad attitude. I do Fanfics on deviantART. Witness me make a mockery out of myself there, too.
