It's like there's a whole series of AC amiibo in the works or somethin'.
I sure said that! Both in figure and card forms!
Do y'all think they might update the game to include future amiibos like Roy, Ryu and Shovel Knight? Maybe even include non-amiibo characters as well?

Gavan, Let's get jiggy!I'm sure they will get Ryu and Roy because they are Smash Bros. series. I don't think they will include Shovel Knight only because Yacht Club Games is handling creation and distribution of all Shovel Knight Amiibos.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureSkylanders amiibo aren't in, it seems.
Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here.Well, when in amiibo mode they're just standard Browsers and Dongley Knogs, so I don't expect it to register them differently.
Though apparently Gold and Silver Mario are recognized as different by the game. Here I had thought the NFC chips in them were identical to the ones in standard Mario and they were just prettier looking.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! There is two different Isabelles. Wha?
EDIT: They get gold/silver coins in Mario Party 10 from the beginning as well. The coins make them turn Gold/Silver.

Oh, huh.
So, you don't NEED amiibos to unlock these costumes, right? Clearing 100-Mario challenge gives you them, and I heard clearing a level made by someone else in which you don a Mystery Suit lets you keep that suit?
I mean, I have all the Smash Bros. amiibos thus far, but I have no interest in the Splatoon or Animal Crossing figures.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! There sure are a whole ton of Animal Crossing characters. Not I'm not complaining, though. I just really hope this doesn't wind up becoming another "Dark Pit" incident (namely people going: "Why didn't (insert some random character here) get in the game instead of all these crappy Animal Crossing characters?")
I wasn't expecting the return of Foreman Spike or Nikki. The Mahjong Tile and the Wii Fit Balance Board made me lol.
I'm not going to be surprised if more Mystery Suits come later. (Especially since Roy, Ryu, and a few others are conspicuously absent...)
"Wonder if Lexie's gonna be free after his shift today..."To be honest, the sheer variety of characters makes me forgive the amount of AC characters in SMM (though it helps that I like AC so...). I kind of wish the Zelda series got more reps than just the main trio (this includes Toon Link).

Tingle, right?
But yeah, the amount of AC characters is a bit disappointing since I was hoping for some more folk from other Nintendo games that only have the obligatory Smash Bros. characters, like Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, Kirby, and MOTHER.
But hopefully they'll add more later.
...I feel like "but hopefully they'll add more later" is becoming a Catchphrase for this game, great-looking though it is.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! And him too. I knew I should've just said "had more reps than it does" instead of specifying.
Still though, Tingle? Ashley? Waluigi? Nikki? I'm astounded (and kind of miffed that there's no Daisy it seems ).
Those are just about all on my list of things I'd call likely.
Much less likely but potentially very cool would be styles based on the 3D platformers adapted for 2D play, or a Mario Kart theme.
I sure said that!It makes me very happy to see Waluigi and Tingle there.
Something's still weird about Sanic, though. As Iconic as his 16-bit sprite is, surely they knew about the Game Gear Sonic games.
Also in regard to Mega Man, can't wait to see some Mega Man stages recreated in SMM.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefThat's pretty much my list, but rather than "raising/lowering water levels" I'd rather they allow us to place water freely in the level, and without restricting it to just the Underwater theme. So we can create pools of water of varying depths, floating cubes of water like in 3D World and in some of the Kirby games, and also do the same with lava ideally.
Pipes that connect to other pipes in the same sub-level instead of only going between sub-levels would be nice, too, like the ones in Super Mario Bros. 3 where the camera follows the pipe as Mario goes around.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! They also had a SEGA Master System version which was released on the Wii Virtual Console.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThey won't do the pipe thing, because that's what the doors are for.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. It's a matter of flavor more than anything, really. More options in a game like this is always better.
I sure said that!Ya know the thing they should do with pipes...cannons, it's the one feature from making the game feel alive.
Flavor is fine, but avoiding redundancy is better.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Cannons, like Mario 3 with all the tanks (in world 8)?

My Deviant Art account. There might be art there. Sometimes. No, I mean...like the pipe cannons from Mario World and the "New" games, those were great.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Oh, you mean you go down a pipe, and the pipe shoots you somewhere else? Well yes, that's also a good idea.

Here's a reupload of the vid.
There is a ton of AC characters!
