Final Fantasy Tactics: The Zodiac Cycle

So a few people might remember from a while back my RP "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: The Lion's Den". That RP died pretty quickly, but I kind of want to try another one. If around 6 people are interested, I'll put up a sign-up. (Note: If more than 6 people sign up, then I will probably put people on reserve slots. However, signing up earlier does not guarantee a spot if I think a later sign-up better fits the RP). If there's interest, I'll put up the sign up in a couple days.

The Plot: You're a new part of a clan in Grazton, making up their 3rd-string team. You do quests all over Ivalice, fight people, kill monsters, etc. Maybe you fight crime. Maybe you commit crime. Maybe you break off from your parent clan and start your own, with blackjack, and hookers. Maybe you help the clan rise to greatness. There will be some guidance from me, obviously, but you will be in control of your own destinies.

The Stat System: Oh no, stats! We'll be using a simplified version of FFTA 2's stat system. Instead of doing exact formulae and calculations and all that with the exact numbers, we'll be using ranks of A-E, with each rank representing a set of 50 (so E rank is 0-50, D is 51-100...). Most people will start out with mostly E and D rank stats. Growth will be a large part of the game.

For those of you unfamiliar with FFTA 2 but interested, there are 6 stats: HP, MP, Attack, Defense, Magick, and Resilience (basically Magick Defense). HP represents how many hits you can take, MP represents how many spells you can cast (literally; we'll be using a Spell Count system instead of MP to simplify the numbers), Attack and Magick represent how much damage you can do with weapons and spells, and Defense and Resilience represent how much damage you can take from weapons and spells. Equipment you can buy affects most of these stats.

‘’’Battle System’’’: We’ll be using a semi-freeform battle system. There will be a grid map set up on Google Maps for battles to keep track of movement and range. This will allow a semi-tactical approach to the encounters, though exact turns will probably not be kept track of. Abilities and classes will affect what you can do in battle, though they won’t limit you; you can still throw things without having the Throw ability, you just won’t throw it nearly as well.

DEFINITE interest. I've been hoping for a Final Fantasy RP for a while, especially one around the Tactics series.
