Which is actually a thing in Deck 13's new sci-fi Souls-thingie The Surge.

Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Yeah the Surge has a body part targeting mechanic where after hitting enemies and building up energy you can press X(PS 4) to perform an execution that chops off the body part(Right arm, left arm, torso, head, left leg, right leg) you were locked onto. Doing this gets the schematic for whatever body part you removed was(or the weapon if you targeted a limb with a weapon attached). With those schematics you can craft the parts.
Almost done with the Undead settlement. Right now trying to decide if I want to use my 14k souls to level up, or grind for some more to get the tower key.
hot damn i like the sound of this game
And then there was silenceHoly fuck the Irythill Dungeon was a pile of horse shit. Made it to the Profaned Capital though.
Indeed it is. It's probably the worst area in the game for me.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I quite liked it. I mean, yeah, the main enemies there have that shitty lifedrain mechanic, but I found it to quite atmospheric and creepy, reminiscent of the Tower of Latria (which they never topped in terms of atmosphere, for me).
Then again, when I went through the Dungeon, I was on chat with a friend who was about 20 minutes behind me, having all the same reactions I did, just delayed. It was a lot of fun :D
Y'know, I don't think I actually hated any areas in Dark Souls III, though none of them particularly stood out either.

I agree the atmosphere was on point, and I kinda of, looking back, get a kick out of the first time I held up my torch and BOOM - Wretch's creepy ass face right there. Made me jump for sure lol.
But the jailers, fuck them and fuck whomever designed them.
Also the one thing I like about DS 3 is the offline mode. So unlike DS 1 I don't have to worry about players invading me and having to disconnect from Live and then re log in. That was a hassle.
I've found that the Pestilent Mercury spell or Toxic Cloud pyromancies work quite well when dealing with several of the jailers in a tight space. And it's especially effective against the large mob of jailers circling around at the bottom level near Karla's cell.
I don't use pyromancies or sorceries; I use a Claymore.
I just kept shooting them with mah bow from behind a corner.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Don't forget. DS 1 had the shittiest matchmaking I've ever seen. Have you ever entered a fightclub with lvl 100+ players while you are currently lvl 60?
This land is peaceful, its inhabitants kind.. ∩(·ω·)∩ WAIT, is this supposed to be the mistress herself?wasnt that also likely with ds2, where your total held souls determined the matchmatching?
DSII used something called Soul Memory, I think. I think it was determined by the total number of souls you'd ever had, not just in your possession right then (because that would be obviously shit). There might have been other factors.
I will say that in DSII, I never once felt completely outmatched in Pv P. I think I won about as many as I lost, compared to DS 1 where I lost most of them, early on at least. Pv P in the first game was hopelessly unbalanced even without taking character level into consideration though.
Just beat Aldrich, man that fight was a pain in the dick. I also hate that they went into a cutscene after and then threw you at the Dancer.
Oh yeah. That's awful.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.particularly since theres a room behind him to explore.
but then, thats why you fight him before yhorm, who has nothing to pick up in his boss room and no room beyond it.
Well, save for Siegward's armor set, provided that he joined you in the Boss battle.
I'd prefer to miss an empty set of rooms and an unimpressive ring rather than Siegward's dying words.

seigwarde always dies before i can kill yhorm so theres really nothing in there for me.
besides, on a first playthrough its not that likely he'll survive, if you even manage to keep him alive to that point.
Odd. I never had a problem saving Siegward. Are you letting him get all the aggro from Yhorm? It takes quite a bit of damage for Siegward to go down.

I manged it on my first try. Wasn't hard.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!i pick up the damn sword in yhorms throne, spend half a year trying to find it in my bloated as shit inventory, equip it
oh damn seigwardes dead.
again.
first time i played, where i didnt know about storm ruler, so i was attacking yhorm regularly. meaning im upclose and inbetween his legs. if that didn't aggro him then frankly nothing will.
See, this is why I chuck every weapon and shield I'm not using or planning on using in storage. When I picked up the sword, finding it as easy.
As for aggro, I can only assume that the enemy doing the most damage gets the aggro and you were doing basically chip damage while Siegward was taking off large chunks of his HP so he gets the aggro. If you also use Stormruler, aggro should shift between you two.

Aerial Style's a thing in the newest Monster Hunter games and the guy before that post was talking about how he's basing his playstyle off his Monna Honna standards.
Aerial Style in particular involves kicking off the enemy to deal damage from above, which lets you hit hard-to-reach weak spots much easier and mount the SHIT out of things
