Dungeon World interest check/character creation and worldbuilding

So this is a tabletop game if you didn't already know, so prepare for minor math :D

This is based off of Apocalypse World, so don't expect Dungeons And Dragons.

Right now I'll GM unless someone else wants to, which would be fine :P

I have two resources, not actual SR Ds, but basically the playbooks, here and here. I also have the character sheets here.

If you find any homebrew classes or anything you can use them as long as you can link to the playbook and they're free.

EDIT-Only one player per class. If we get six or more players I'll put them in different parties in the same game.

EDIT AGAIN-By "Don't expect Dungeons And Dragons" I meant mechanics wise. The setting is similar.

So anybody want to do this?

What are you planning?

As of now, nothing much. I have a mostly empty map, some ideas about a relatively short adventure front and a dungeon, but other than that, nothing. Did you read the pages? The worldbuilding is supposed to be collaborative and you shouldn't have much planned at start.

Well, I think I'm in. Always wanted to know other systems. Gonna study it, but in the meanwhile, ever heard of burning wheel?

No, never heard of it. I googled it and it looks neat, I'll read some more about it later.

So which classes are we using, Apocalypse Worlds, Dungeon Worlds or both? And the first link just leads to an advertisement for the system. Can't connect to the character sheet page either.

The classes we're using are the Dungeon world classes, because that's the game we're playing

The website that I believe you think is an ad has a navigation bar at the top of the website.

And the sheets work fine for me. I dunno.

Also, when making your character, don't feel limited by the options given to you. Make up your own. Please.

Look: Sharp Eyes, Pointed Hat, Worn Robes, Thin Body.

Stats:

• Strength: 8 (-1)

• Dexterity: 12 (+0)

• Constitution: 9 (+0)

• Intelligence: 16 (+2)

• Wisdom: 15 (+1)

• Charisma: 13 (+1)

Alignment: Good

Race: Elf

Bonds: Awaiting others.

Gear:

• Bag of books (5 uses, 2 weight) and 3 healing potions

• Staff (Close, two-handed, 1 weight)

• 3 antitoxins (0 weight)

Spells:

• All cantrips, plus Detect Magic due to race.

• Alarm

• Magic Missile

• Invisibility

When I said not to feel limited by the options given to you in my last post I meant the bonds, names, and appearance. And if you want random stats roll 3d6.

And thanks for signing up! We'll probably need at least two other people, so we have to wait a while.

Also I can't run this during the first week of June due to being away from internet :'(

Well, it took quite some time for the character sheet PDF to open. But I managed to get everything. Still, I like the "Look" system. Keeps things simple, and I'm horrible at description.

It took a bit for me too. And yeah, normally when I make a character I just say the hair color and leave it at that

EDIT SO PEOPLE DON'T HATE ME: Not really. But I'm minimalistic to say the least.
