I'd heard more Doraemon was being worked on, but like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Viz only holds the merch rights and not those of the anime itself (not that it stops them from plugging the future robot kitty anyway).
SM sells figures, but not too much kid-friendly merch...at least not yet. They're probably working on it. Despite the video hiccups (which are still small potatoes compared to what ADV did to the subbed release when they had it), the DVD sales still seem to be going strong and the dub certainly helps.

Funny you mention SM my dear Lady Pikari, because SM is selling kid merch on the UK. I wish Pop Girl aired the Viz dub. That would be SO EPIC.Pretty Cure and Tokyo Mew Mew (Ok Mew Mew Power) did great when they aired there.
I would love for a new generation to discover and love Sailor Moon.

Mileena MadnessWow. I had no idea Doraemon had become so successful. I liked the show, and while the edits are stupid and off-putting, the voice acting is great, and there are no bad Saban jokes or puns, so that's a plus. Plus, I have a Doraemon plushie!
Wow! This really is a surprise. It seems the Disney XD airtime did help it thrive. Sure being second in Sales for an anime company (Which is extremely niche) isnt a big deal. But still. And now that I think about it, its beating all other properties that have huge appeal and prior succes like Bleach, Death Note and even Sailor Moon.

I was going to say Im pretty surprised Sailor Moon wasnt the No 2 (No 1 will always be Naruto) but the Bluray and DVD flaws must have soured lots of people. And Sailor Moon doesnt sell toys like Doraemon does.
