What is it even parodying? I really can't say I get it.

As a potential replacement, we could do Pinky and the Brain arguing◊ and the reveal that the original voice actors are the ones behind it◊ (though probably not these exact images).

I don't get it either...I suspect it would need to be compared to whatever it's parodying to make the connection clear.

The current doesn't look like a parody as much as an alternate universe kinda thing, which Disney do a lot.

Something like this and mentioning who the artist is? It at least looks like a parody, even if you're not familiar with the magazine.

Otherwise I think it could be very hard to illustrate this trope without some kind of explanation in the caption, or other additional text.
