Considering Mellian would've been going up against a team and some sort of machination, she didn't draw her gun or dagger. She raised her hands to show she means no harm, slowly approaching the golem who'd stepped forward. "Why are you here?" she asked, one good eye fixated on where she assumes it's face here. "The town behind me is called Valencia. If you're travellers, you're welcome to enter, but we mean no harm."

Sector B2.5: Ruined Town
As it happened to be, one of the hiigaran rangers would find something utterly odd under one of the buildings, on one basement there was a hatch leading down to a much larger sub-level, in there a large heavy metal gate, aged and rusty but still in one solid piece.
The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.

Cherno waved his scavenger team to a halt as he spotted a lone figure moving towards their group. The robot stared impassively at the figure before slowly stomping forward to meet them. Even lacking hostile intent at the moment, it would still make an imposing sight given Cherno's bulk and height.
His single if large optical sensor stared down at the the human but he remained silent for the time being, pondering what the human would say.
