Well, it's perhaps the first character I've made that's based as closely on myself as comfortably possible.

Oh, and seeing as I left out personal motive. Simply, he does not have one. He's a "cross the bridge when I get there" kind of person.

And here I was looking forward to awesome magical combination attacks.

Holy balls, I'd be all over this if I COULD WRITE CHARACTERS FROM PRESENT DAY, MUNDANE EARTH WITH NO PREVIOUS FANTASTICAL ELEMENTS. I can't do it. I'd make them be me.

Last time I checked TV Tropes is supposed to be a friendly, civil forum. Doesn't say it can't be like a family too, no? (Cheesy line is cheesy, I know.)

My character is pretty much me with a few modifications and a nifty power, if that makes you feel better about writing who you know (namely, you).

Yeah, I have trouble keeping me out of my characters sometimes, it's always hard to write from a different perspective.

Appearance: Wild, dark hair kept moderately long. Olive skinned, with almond shaped, dark brown eyes. Relatively straight, white teeth. Angular features, although his nose is crooked. He’s a little under 5’8’’. Clothed in a blue tee-shirt, jeans,

Personality: He’s easy going, and usually goes with the flow. Claims to have never been bored a day in his life, though God knows that he’s bored all the time. Why else would he be constantly fiddling with something or playing a game? Loves screwing with people. Unsure of what he wants out of life.

Background: Born to wonderful family on the West Coast of the U.S., he’s never really lacked much of anything. Just about anything he wanted, he received. Granted, there wasn’t much he wanted, but still. Absolutely fell in love with fantasy and vidja games when he was younger. Always had an active imagination that he used to create fantasy world of his very own. He graduated from college with a degree he knew he wouldn’t enjoy, but his parents insisted it was right for him. So he’s just out of college, unemployed, bored out of his mind, and more than a little depressed.

Powers: Light manipulation. So far, he can generate light in a variety of colors and focus it into semi-corporeal blades.

Personal Motive: A little purpose in his life. Something to find enjoyment in, something that helps people. That’s all he wants.

I think that'll work just fine. I'd say he's accepted! I also do think he'll enjoy Kite quite a lot.

Changed my mind. Arcana Imperii is gonna take a lot of time to properly set so I might aswell wait for a bit and play here.
