But Boomerang is supposed to be a channel dedicated to old cartoons that don't air anymore. Not shows you can watch without paying on the CN channel. What's the point in paying for a subscription channel if what's on their is the same content you can get on a main channel that you don't need to shell extra money on?
At least with Discovery Family Hub wasn't doing well in the first place so you can say they wanted to try and do something that could bring in more viewers since it's clear that their old programing wasn't doing the trick beyond MLP and maybe LPS.

That's why the part of "The "new" programming is shit". Its just CN shit. What they should do isnt going back to just airing old stuff, but rather new UNIQUE and quality stuff. Sadly, the days of just old stuff are really over.

The only new thing that I can think of that isn't on CN that airs on Boomerang is Grojband which was a show that was on CN in the first place(and is the only reason I'd watch Boomerang if I had it still). Other than that it seems to be the old shows people know well that(ie T&J and Looney Tunes), their spinoffs, shows currently airing on CN, and older seasons of Pokemon. They've left that poor channel to die, pretty much.

Disney has good use for its satellite channels. I cannot say the same for Nicktoons. What is it even doing!? It barely get half the ratings Nick does. It no longer airs original cartoons. It's a dusty record that has sat on the shelf for years.

Not entirely, just that it lacks variety. Turtles and such are great, but that's all there is for Nicktoons now. Oh and Sports.

Despite what "Hardcore" fans may think,New Programming does help more than just stubbornly sticking to your theme. Sure this new programming sucks which is infuriating, and is a genuine complaint, but this concept of selling out is just absurd. I did understand fans back when CN Real was a thing, but god Kids Channels cant just drop everything and appeal to this whiny minority which they dont even aim to.
