Needs Help: Non Nude Bathing

The current on Non-Nude Bathing is alright, but I see two glaring issues: that doesn't look like a bath, and her wearing what looks like a bikini doesn't seem like it really fits. It's also not listed as an example. There were some great suggestions in the first thread for Modesty Towel:

• From Love Hina: 1◊ (possibly with the two on the left cropped off), 2◊
• The girls◊ from Haruhi Suzumiya
• Tales of Hearts◊
• Lampshade◊
• Troi◊ from the TNG episode "Genesis"

The Haruhi pic is easily my fav.

The Troi one isn't really the trope, she was turning fish and was living in the water.

As much as I like the Nisekoi one, the 4th one, Ruri there might not be covered up by enough Censor Steam.

Yeah, the Haruhi one is proably the best one of the bunch. And even without context, the TNG one looks like something else is going on there.

Aye, I do not like the current all that much. Undecided on which suggestion to use.

The Haruhi pic is my overall favorite of the bunch, too.

I'd prefer something that won't overlap too much with Modesty Towel...

If it wasn't watermarked with the source website, that would be a valid option. I should note that Modesty Towel has its own thread in progress, in case you (or anyone else) didn't already see it.

The Haruhi one works good. I don't think the Modesty Towel overlap is that big of a problem.

9 works for me. I would prefer a pic with clothes on. Towels are not even mentioned in the trope description.

Man this trope might seriously need a split as a shower alone like that and visiting an outdoor Hotsprings, many times a public one, are way different things.

One is completely and utterly stupid, the other one is shy and/or modesty. I would argue that the former should not be the trope.

Hmm, if you are talking about creating a Hot Springs trope, it may be better for YKTTW.

That would help; a wick check to see how the trope's being used and a proposal of the split would be even better.

No. I am talking about splitting this into 2.

1) The image in the lead. Someone for some crazy reason (censorship) is actually taking a bath / shower yada alone in a swimsuit.

2) All the other images. People wearing towels, bathing suits and such in a place where there is more than one person around like a Hotsprings Episode, Public Bathhouse Scene, or into a Furo Scene with more than one person. doubly so if it is a Co-Ed bath which is kinda common. The common reason is because they are shy or reserved. The event in which the Nisekoi image was taken directly calls this trope out rather bluntly as well as a few others I can think of.

In addition to the Fridge Logic on how heavy and uncomfortable fully soaked towels get which never actually portrayed in the shows,

There is also the common stereotype where a girl walks in on a guy taking a bath saying 'I will wash your back' and the guy gets all shocked only to see that she is in a swimsuit and proceeds to get into the bath.
