Well, being in cryo for a couple of decades is one thing, being in cryo for a couple of decades while say an additional hundred or so years had passed for everyone else is another thing? Though then again if the Exodus all left at about the same time and speed, it would still boil down to however long we spent in cryosleep after coming to a halt. So I guess not.
Click Click Boom BoomYeah I mean, I don't think th erobots would be in cryo, so while the humans or whatever were in cyro, the bots could have been slowly going insane. Like, they could have taken longer to get to Haven cause they might have gotten knocked off course, then after a while the incident occurs that severely damages the ship making it drift off course waaay more. Then a bit after that is when ADAM awakens whoever survived all that rubbish. That could easily have been centuries while the humans, or anyhting organic, were in cyro.

Saint LaughterADAM was only really meant to run the ship by himself for so long, the medical AI would last longer feasibly because it had no personality to overwork itself and was meant to monitor life signs. ADAM however was designed with human interaction in mind and thus was given a personality.
He tried doing the subtle adjustments every little bit but eventually had to start running the entire thing himself because as it turns out, Space is dangerous and filled with asteroids. So eventually he started to break down and experienced a major crash.
The Medical AI died in the crash on the asteroid but ADAM only thinks it's from overworking itself.
Time Dilation for the A.I.s, possible, for the humans wouldn't matter much because cryo.
There really shouldn't be much if any delay for communications at this distance? Like if a Mining drone can get there in under like 30 minutes, its incredibly unlikely its more then a light-second or two at most away.
Alright, I mean admittedly I don't know how fast an unmanned drone can accelerate and decelerate in this setting due to not having to worry as much about the g forces as a ship with an organic crew would.
Oh, how big is the mining drone? Like could most of the P Cs piggyback on it in space suits to be flown over to the cargo ship wreck? Or do we need to gather materials to build a proper ship to transport us?
Click Click Boom BoomDrones vary in size. A standard drone is as big as a tractor.
Now do you want to be holding on for dear life while Adam flies you at high speeds at a large chunk of Space rock?
That sounds like something a distressingly large number of my characters would be down for. Sadly, the Professor wouldn't be.
Click Click Boom BoomVictoria would be willing to go, but she sure as shit wouldn't like it.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertCrashsat would surf it.
Saint LaughterI am fairly certain he would.
A small ship should be large enough to transport the entire remaining crew right? We don't need to wait for enough BM to get a bigger one?
Click Click Boom BoomIt is listed as a buildable. A small Ship Carrier should be fine. Hell you got a blueprint for it.
I forgot about the fact we just got that. >_<
Click Click Boom BoomA new update to the list of things you can build with Build Material. To Balance off the fact that Adam is just bringing it all in.
So, what's personal defensive tech like? I'm assuming body armor is better then kevlar at this point. And that we don't really have anything too exotic like personal energy shields. At least not yet.
Also, what would it take for the Professor to upgrade his eyes to shoot lasers?
Click Click Boom BoomA full body upgrade just to make the power needed uncumbersome.
And no energy shields. Just armor and bullet shooters.

We need to get a proper lab set up for Proton so he can make amazing break-throughs in science. For the good of humanity of course.
Saint LaughterOf course.
Professor Proton's motivations are 5 parts SCIENCE 3 parts RAILGUNS and 2 parts for the good of humanity.
Click Click Boom BoomLeast that fills up a full 10 on his SCIENTIFIC MOTIVATION stat.
Waiting for Victoria, Remy, and Crashsat.
If you're talking about going salvaging, I was the first one to post.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertSo Crashsat and Remy. Why isn't Wolf here anyway.
Good question. I know he's around.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertI thought Crashsat was helping the prof wiht hangar construction?
Saint Laughter
As for the time dilation, does it matter? You were all in cryo so it wouldn't have affected anything.
