Everytime I see "Oscar" I wonder why the hell Ieria's dad is running Beacon 200 years in the past.

I think the name is supposed to be a reference to the one and only Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkel Emmannuel Ambroise Diggs himself.

I thought it was more of a reference to Ozpin. I mean Os and Oz? Sounds kind of similar, don't you think?

Oz the Great and Powerful... now that's an awesome film.

Women are weaker then men, it does mater, a lot... a dull sword will never be as deadly as a sharp one, with proper tactics some of the inherent disadvantage can be shed but you would have always been better off with the sharper sword

A sword is a tool. You are supposed to do your job with whatever tool you have available, so if it is dull, sharpen it rather than throw yourself in self-pity.

I mean, I'd post some sort of quote for Gerhart, but he's not the sort of motherfucker what'd talk to any of your lot's characters yet.

The comparison of sharping the sword can not be made, because a woman can not become a man, she will always be inferior the roles of combat, just like a man will always be inferior to a woman in he role of bearing heirs

True, but no one is a tool here, am I correct? We are to be brothers in arms. Strength in numbers is the key.

At least Tempestas is a nice guy. Only reason why he thinks women and Faunus don't belong on the battlefield is because he thinks both are too delicate and unfit for battle.

Speak for your self, I am nothing but a tool for the Kosetsu-Shi, a role I am content with, there is no use for a sword wishing to be a crown
