I'm shocked there's no forum thread for this.

Favorite ep, anyone?

I wanna say "The Soup Nazi", because of the fact that it's really based off some jerkass soup stand owner, adding to the level of greatness.

If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.

I'm tempted to go with "The Dealership" for George's epic breakdown over a Twix candy bar, and Kramer's odd subplot trying to see how far he can drive a car before it runs out of gas.

Though "The Contest" is pretty darn funny, too.

Seinfeld is basically a way of life for me, so this post is by no means exhaustive:

  • The Voice
  • The Opposite
  • The Susie
  • The Limo
  • The Race

Actually...pretty much all of Seasons 8 and 9, as well. They may be Denser And W Wackier, but they are totally my jam.

I once met the Soup Nazi at my local comic convention and got his autograph.

It turned out he was a black belt in karate.

But favorite episode... "The Serenity Now." The sight of George's father saying "Serenity now!" is just hilarious.

[up] You met the guy who played the Soup Nazi, or the actual guy who ran the soup place the Seinfeld writers went to?

That would be Larry Thomas.

I know I've mentioned this before, but it astounds me how Al Yegenev (the inspiration for The Soup Nazi) admitted to refusing applicants for his company if they mention Seinfeld, or has fired employees for discussing Seinfeld, and refused to serve customers for discussing Seinfeld..... and yet he proudly mentions on his soup packages his association to Seinfeld. It's awfully hypocritical.

You'd expect less from that guy? YOU don't get to mention it, but he certainly does.

It's been a long time since I've watched this show, so I don't really have a favorite. I do like the Soup Nazi one. That was funny.

"The Parking Garage" is probably my favorite pre-Growing the Beard episode of the series (back when the show was a bit more slow-paced).

I also love the ending, in which the car doesn't start, which as many Senfeld fans know was a Throw It In! moment.

I love the one where Newman and Kramer cook sausages in Jerry’s apartment. The cheesy organ music that plays always cracks me up.

I love Seinfeld considering it's my favorite for Sitcoms but regardless I can't count how many episodes I have seen due to my memories honestly,

George trying to get fired as bodysuit man is memorable.

So is Vandalay industries.

And the contest.

[up] Just the image of him yelling "Say Vandelay!" and then ending up with his underwear exposed is just the best.

Then Jerry walks in and drops the immortal line "And you wanna be my latex salesman?"

[lol]

I like how a later episode has Jerry and George run into each other, both mid-lie, and before Jerry can address George by name, George just mutters "Art", and Jerry immediately knows to go, "Mr. Vandelay, of course."
