Yooka & Laylee confirmed for Smash 5
Neat! They really should go ahead and make one because Switch.
As long as it does something cooler than "free lives" or something.
If Yooka-Laylee even uses a lives system, since most games have ditched the concept of "run out of lives, start over from hub/map/title"

Banjo-Tooie abandoned the lives system, so I don't think Yooka-Laylee will have it. (Banjo-Kazooie did, though.)

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureSo: Level 1 is Tribalstack Tropics, Level 2 is Glitterglaze Glacier and Level 3 is Capital Cashino. I have a bad feeling there are only going to be like five levels total, compared to ten from the Banjo-Kazooie games.
Am I the only one who doesn't want to know what flavours of level we'll have before actually playing?
I'm fine knowing the first three levels, but any more is too much, especially if there's only like five. I'm hoping for around ten, but I don't know how likely that is.
I'm pretty sure they already said that there would be about six really large levels.
JonTron's voice acting to be removed from the game following a racially charged rant.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."When I was at my local GameStop the other day I found out that the release date is April 11 (or some other day in April). This includes the Switch version release.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Good. Jon is a genuinely funny, talented guy, but after his recent white supremacist diatribes, he deserves to lose as many friends and endorsement deals as have the courage to leave/stand up to him. Now that his heroes have turned on him too (he idolizes 90s Rare), maybe he'll finally learn a lesson. And when I say "learn a lesson," I mean it.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Doubt it. If anything, he'll double down.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Oh, I doubt it too. But a boy has the right to dream, as they say.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Such a shame that happened. If you're gonna be a voice that's heard by who knows how many you HAVE to leave some things at the door.
Now I'm seeing all manner of idiots that think Jon's done no wrong and Playtonic's being the dumdums in this scenario, even going as far to say they'll cancel their preorders. Even one dumbass, who didn't even LIKE the style of game Y-K was, was getting the game as Jon's voice was the only draw for them to do so, and that was it!
Such brand of douchbaggery can sit and spin for all I care; I know I'm getting the game once I get my hands on a Switch.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefEh. Those few shitheads weren't going to make Playtonic rich, and their rescinded patronage won't make Playtonic poor..
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Yeah, I'm still planning on getting the game at some point myself. Jon being on or off the game makes no difference for me.
"Wonder if Lexie's gonna be free after his shift today..."Sorry to double-post, but now I've been hearing that the developers are banning "pro-Jon" people on Steam who are grilling Playtonic and/or asking for refunds on their games over the whole JonTron debacle.
Yooka-Laylee is going to be Overshadowed by Controversy now, isn't it...?
"Wonder if Lexie's gonna be free after his shift today..."No? This isn't a big deal, all told.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThey are...
But I'd be honestly surprised if many on the forums here care.

I personally don't really care myself, but I know a lot of people outside this website are going to, that's all.
"Wonder if Lexie's gonna be free after his shift today..."The pro-Jon Vocal Minority is as vocal as it is a minority. This is the same brood of insecure racist idiots who claimed they cost The Force Awakens four million dollars (peanuts in Star Wars money) because they were so mad about the black and female leads that they answered a poll online saying they wouldn't watch the movie. They're nothing. They're less than nothing. Rare has thousands and thousands of fans who've been clamoring for a game like Yooka-Laylee for decades, and the majority of them (I'm willing to bet) aren't racist.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?What about the people pulling out on principle?
You can claim that they're an insignificant group, but will you claim them to be racist as well?
Oh boy, I'm not going to lie, I'd love to have an amiibo like that.
