"And then Susie died, her head exploding as all kinds of madness streamed into her mind, her very soul being destroyed by the depraved wickedness flooding what was her mind."
Kidding! I'll send Gob a PM on what her character should see/think upon touching the Orb. Regarding an actual update, I suppose Martin and Other could just have a little time skip since they would just be semi-fake attacking each other & dodging to evolve their powers (though the Other would claim the Draconian Knight lied about the Black Queen, mentioning that she was the one who pointed them towards Ground Zero for answers). Penny would advise Haile to hide out inside to plan out what they should do, with them possibly encountering Susie and Yecotis.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Aw, no head explosions? I love how everyone assumes she's going to be that guy in every horror movie. She's schitzophrenic, not stupid. Still, after a little persuasion she'll probably end up touching it anyhow. I'll post in a few hours when I have time.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Oh wow, really? Just like that? That was easier than I hoped.
Saint LaughterWell, by a little persuasion I mean Kkutwar P Med me saying Susie should touch it. I feel there is a horribly crass pun in there somewhere by I won't, for once, be the first to say it.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Yeah I'm not one for crass jokes, though admittedly I just said what should happen if she did touch the Orb.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."Hmm, I hope she isn't knocked unconscious or the like. I don't want unfortanute implications if Haile and Penny were to walk in. Or maybe they should read the situation wrong. Have Yecotis and Haile fight. Wouldn't that be fun?
Saint LaughterIt'd be hilarious if the cops just end up standing there watching them fight like, "Uh. What?"
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”"You guys, maybe they got superpowers or something I dunno... coverup?"
Saint Laughter"Five bucks on the God-Hand wannabe?"
"... You're on!"
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Actual for real dialouge between two cops and a soldier.
Saint LaughterAlso Haile yelling "FALCON PUNCH!"
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertWait I need to ge tthis straight... did Q take the orb?
Saint LaughterYep, she reflexively grabbed it. But she's stopped for now at the other side of the room.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Oh okay. Yeah, Yecotis is gonna want that back. He really likes it.
Saint LaughterHe's welcome to it - she's got enough voices to contend with on a regular basis.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Sorry I haven't updated yet, I got distracted by all kinds of shiny things. So, are you guys still interested in this or has this died?
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."I'm def still interested.
Saint LaughterInterested.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”If you guys really think two players will work, I'll keep this up. If not, then I'll just shelf the concept for now and bring it back later on upon further refinement.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."
This is the bit in a horror movie where everyone goes "No no no, don't do that you idiot".
