Umm... so, I was here, I guess. If I wasn't, someone hacked my account. So, yeah.Anyone down for a steampunk fantasy where the gods have left the world and anyone who can afford it is chasing after them to get to paradise?
97% of all fandoms are comprised of sane, reasonable people. The remaining 3% are here, on this wiki.I'd be more than down for a BT RP~!
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"I could use a few officers to assist me in getting my newest roleplay off of the ground: [1]
It's a crime-based RP where you're allowed to freely roam around crime scenes, perform interrogations, contradict testimonies and catch the killer in a battle of logic and evidence. You can think of it as AAI with a bit more depth, but every joiner will be a huge help in keeping this roleplay going. I have plenty of plans for cases and investigations, so I shouldn't be out of content any time soon.

@Thewizzardpineapple: Sounds a little interesting, but I can't guarantee I'd have the time, and I'd want to see more details first.
You are reading this.Ignore my previous post. A few people necro’d my old RP Gods For Hire, so I figured I’d start that back up. Link is here.

97% of all fandoms are comprised of sane, reasonable people. The remaining 3% are here, on this wiki.As an addendum to the above post, my RP will also be very active. I should be able to come online several times per day at various times of the day in order to make new posts as the GM, so there should be no worries about me randomly jumping ship on the roleplay, as most posts will usually get a response as long as I'm not sleeping. I want to be able to build an expansive universe where solving cases is fun and not tedious. Even one person will get the ball rolling, so let me know if you're interested or have any questions about it! I have an incredible amount of passion for this series and I want to be able to put it to some good use.

I'm thinking of a new RP, which is centered around Ben 10.
I've used canon as a guideline, picking and choosing elements that work - it's Broad Strokes with regard to continuity.
With regard to the plotline, Ben Tennyson (from another universe within The Multiverse) seeks help from... himself (sort of like this episode) to face a threat that he can't handle himself, a Big Bad who is Ambiguously Human.
Ben has the following aliens in his Omnitrix:
1. Heatblast
2. Four Arms
3. Grey Matter
4. XLR8
5. Diamondhead
6. Jury Rigg
7. Shocksquatch
8. Brainstorm
9. Clockwork
10. Alien X
11. Atomix
12. Wildvine
13. Fusion of Jury Rigg and Alien X
14. Fusion of Four Arms and Shocksquatch
However, in order to avoid Story-Breaker Power, I've made personality changes to the aliens, mainly:
- Jury Rigg is still malevolent, but speaks more like an Erudite Stoner and is somewhat a Nice Guy underneath.
- Alien X doesn't have Bellicus and Serena, and speaks in a Quintessential British Gentleman accent. Still working on how to avoid Story-Breaker Power, but maybe making him the Klutz.
As for the Big Bad, his motives have yet to be worked out, but I am thinking that he can be a psychotic type of Big Bad.
If anyone wants to help, I'd appreciate it. I'm going to keep it to one Story Arc, and keep things simple, I've not really done much RP'ing here.

For those who remember my urban fantasy RP plans (and for those who don't)...
Here is the link for the game.

Everything that lives is designed to end.... So, I should disclaimer at first that I'm not sure this will happen at all, and that if it does it probably won't be right away. I'd kinda prefer to wait until I'm on my new computer which, infuriatingly, I still don't have a proper ETA on, but I'd say at least a week or two, at the earliest. Getting past my rambling, I'm thinking of possibly setting up a secondary RP, something preferably a bit smaller and probably slower and more casual on the posting than City of Lost Characters. Also possibly, depending on which one I go with, using die rolling mechanics rather than just free form.
The purpose of this post is that I'd like to see how much potential interest there would be in the first place, and in particular which of the ideas that I've been considering would get more interest than the other:
- An original setting I've been cooking up, in a clockwork technology level flat world with magic and fantasy races. The world is known to be flat, and maybe even infinite in size, (will leave out the complicated explanations here but the short of how the sun rotation and stuff like that works is it's magic) but the known area of the world is surrounded on all sides by treacherous oceans inhabited by leviathans, so no ship has ever been able to go out and return alive to tell what's out there... Until now, with the invention of airships, and an expedition being planned to go beyond the leviathan seas, and try to find the edge of the world.
- Something set in Warhammer 40,000, probably centered around Imperial Knights because I just freakin' love Imperial Knights. Will probably also allow players to come in with other imperial faction units as allies; I've been thinking of trying to make a system where each player would have a whole squad of characters, and individual characters are expendable and there would be a lot of people dying because... Well because Warhammer 40,000.
Honestly, I'd go for the original setting but I'm biased towards original settings in the first place!
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.I probably should have gone here before making the Interest Thread, but I have posted the Interest Thread for a roleplay based on The King Of Fighters, if anyone is interested.
"DIO is the ultimate being! The being of the future! Dare you not to rival me!"So, I was thinking about doing a roleplay based off of Project × Zone, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about it. Anyone interested?
"DIO is the ultimate being! The being of the future! Dare you not to rival me!"Waves hands around vigorously
MEEE!!
I have the perfect OC team for your Project X Zone RP (if you decide to start it)!
Basically, the teams work like this: two people as frontline fighters, and one person as support that can be called in for special attacks, buffing, etc.
I'm by no means an expert, but I think that's how it works.

I wear the skin of the Elder Things, having come unto my own.I was more wondering how would I have people sign up. Would I have them sign up as 2 characters in a Pair Unit together, or would they each sign up as one character and form teams? And would I allow signups for Solo Units or play them all myself? Then there's the question of characters...

"DIO is the ultimate being! The being of the future! Dare you not to rival me!"Generally, Pair Units are from the same world(?) and pair up with Solo Units from other worlds(?). I think you should let people sign up as either a Pair (one or both people), Solo, or (needing GM approval) a Team and you can use NP Cs to fill in any gaps.
IDK too much about this issue, but this is my two cents. If it gets too complicated, make a char list with links in the first signup post or smth.
These are just my two cents, though, and the choice is up to you (but I hope this helps).
I wear the skin of the Elder Things, having come unto my own.Whelp, I made an Interest thread for it. Because of course I did.
"DIO is the ultimate being! The being of the future! Dare you not to rival me!"I am thinking of starting up a role-play based on old-school Dungeons & Dragons, specifically the original boxed set rules from 1974 (also known as Zero Edition or Original D&D) though I am also open to the idea of Advanced D&D (specifically First Edition)
Would anyone be interested?

Anyone interested in playing a fish-out-of-water-type RP where you play people from alternate timelines who were suddenly and mysteriously transported to our world?
The signup thread is here if you are interested.
Umm... so, I was here, I guess. If I wasn't, someone hacked my account. So, yeah.Anyone interested in trying Ten Candles? Ten Candles is a RPG system featuring a story taking place in ten rounds, featuring a group of characters trying to survive in a world going dark. The game ends with the player characters dying and/or being consumed by the darkness. The goal is not to win/survive, but to discover what your character does with their last moments in their world to try to support the light.
You can see several cool play-throughs on You Tube.
Paranoia - The Most Fun You Can Have With Deadly Lasers! Is anyone interested in an RP that’s pretty much an endless Boss Rush?
How It Works: You play as your avatar, with a move set as described in your signup sheet. All players must have access to an RNG that does numbers 1-6. An actual cubic die is preferred, but an online RNG works as well. Each “round”, I’ll post a character and their stats for the players to battle. The character will take a turn every two posts that involve a character’s move set being used (talking is not counted as a turn, in other words).
How To Play: Post the attack you use and the number you got; I’ll tell you the result. 1 is a critical fail, 6 is perfect.
Signups are here.
How unfortunate that you are attempting to deceive me.Is anyone interested in an RP based on Hong Kong action movies and the Tabletop RPG Feng Shui?
Signups and plot details are over here.
I wear the skin of the Elder Things, having come unto my own.Would anyone like an RP where you go through the entire Metroid series as different characters? Basically, 5-7 people are dropped on Zebes at the beginning of Metroid: Zero Mission. From there, they can do whatever they want as long as they have the item for it- and items include powers the characters start with. The game runs from ZM to Fusion, and everything is there. Even Botwoon. Signups are here.
How unfortunate that you are attempting to deceive me.So, I am now on my new computer; have been for a bit, just been getting settled in on it. Work has been keeping me pretty busy so I'm still not in any place to start another RP just yet, but I'm still thinking it over. In addition to the other two ideas I posted before, I now have a new idea for a potential RP, based on a couple of dreams I had lately.
- An RP where our real, modern day world is suddenly merging with a medieval fantasy world and both are getting scrambled up, creating lots of confusion and chaos. Player characters are people from either world who get chosen as champions by one of the various gods or goddesses of the fantasy world, now tasked with trying to get things in order and set it all right.
With the relatively recent release of HBS's BattleTech game, I've been on a Battletech kick recently and was wondering if anyone would be interested in an RP in that universe? Probably c. 4th Succession War.
