In case this thing DOES launch, considering Syre is the only character in the academy ATM, I wonder how she'll even be able to meet everyone else.

There really isn't a "main Academy" in this one. Feel free to have your characters in one of the Academies, if you want.
Its more about the city, the tournaments constantly going on, and the secrets of the city.
