I have seen at least a few instances of this trope but cannot find the trope on TV Trope. Its where you have a character search for another, most often with the fear or uncertainty of finding them, and just when they may have lost hope the one they are looking for is dramatically revealed behind them by a viewer perspective shift. Thus allowing the character to see the one they seek behind them.
