Quartz was definitely not used to such hostility, to say the least, and had no idea how to react to it. Which is why he decided to ignore it altogether and pretend it wasn't there.

"Hm, well, I can understand want of aloneliness in bad time, but, um, might be best in long term to let it out somehow... Maybe, just, talk about it could help, mayhaps?"

...Alright, Maybe Mondays Ain't Half-Bad

As Sam made his way around campus (presumably following Connor), his Scroll vibrated. He pulled the smartphone out of his pocket and navigated away from the utterly broken Scroll Maps to the built-in texting app - which, thankfully, worked far, far better than attempting to find his way around did.

He raised an eyebrow at what he was reading. Apparently his partner had decided to be proactive (he liked that) and was texting him regarding Beacon. His partner was also a robot girl - something he didn't think was going to be much of a problem, he'd seen a few robot people in Atlas - and apparently Suzune was also one.

Suddenly he felt a little more self-conscious about his crack against technology. Would a robot consider that to be racist?

He was distracted by the fact that she'd also sent a selfie. She looked pretty; apparently she was also a master of the art, considering her masterful use of light.

Welp, gotta respond somehow. Flicking his eyes up to make sure nothing was in front of him for a while, he rotated his Scroll to the side, the Scroll's keyboard followed, and he began tapping out a reply.

I got here late anyways so don't worry about being busy. Frigging Scrolls :D

He immediately took a quick selfie, an actual two-fingered salute (and not a double middle finger) tapping against his forehead. His eyes were green, his unkempt "head racing stripe" was green - it was clear that it was this guy's motif. It was also clear that, unlike Halle's hundred-selfie search, that Sam hadn't put much effort into it - he'd just taken a picture and let the details speak for themselves.

"Look, I'm sorry if I'm being a bitch, it's just...I had a really bad Saturday..." Lena told Quartz, softening up a bit.

....Until Dian approached her, at whom she responded with a weird half-snarl, half-growl sound of pure annoyance.

She sighed.

"....Argh. I'm a mess. I'm sorry you guys saw me like this."

"P-please Lena...calm d-down...", Iris worriedly said. She was getting kinda scared of what the princess might do in anger next.

Mission Failed

Ugh, that was hopeless.

...he would confront Nat about it some time later. For now he had more pressing matters to attend to, these pressing matters being... well, Lena.

He sprinted to the class, mentally thanking himself that he picked all the stuff needed for a lesson earlier.

"H-hey..." He sputtered out upon reaching his destination, grasping for breath. "S-sorry I'm, hah, late." He straightened himself out before clearing his throat and smiling at Lena sulking over there. "Hey, Lena. Er, feeling any better...?" He risked a question, hoping that she won't snarl at him.

"Oh, is no need to worry about it, just... Tell if there is thing I can be of helpings with, okay?" Quartz said with a smile, waving to Raggy.

"I seem to be incapable of remaining calm right now. Try again later after I pig out on ice cream." grunted Lena. She managed to give Quartz a half-smile.

"Thanks for the concern, though, Q. I appreciate it, but really I can deal with this. I mean...I'll be okay for our language lesson tomorrow."

Then, her boyfriend arrived.

"Still angry. Don't you dare to even think about blaming yourself. Nat's fault. Not yours."

...well, there goes one line of defense.

"It doesn't matter by now." Raggy shook his head, putting on a slightly crooked smile. "I... we'll have another date. Better, with no one to interupt us, alright?" He added, pulling her into a small hug, hoping that perhaps this will be enough to unsour her mood a little bit.

Outside the dorm

Seeing as Samuel was doing his own thing, Connor chose to simply lead the lad to the Dorm, where upon arriving he would say "Right, here we are. I dinnae ken which team you're on, so we can drop that gear o' yours in the main room or we can dump it in my dorm if you want tae keep it secure."

"Sure, sure, just letting you know I'm here if can help." Quartz replied, returning Lena's smile as he patted her on the shoulder, taking a step back as Raggy approached.

"Hm, anyways, am assume you might want some time alone with mate?" he asked, distractedly glancing at the others nearby.

Iris then tried getting her girlfriend's attention again.

"M-Morgan...are y-you still there...?", she asked her partner.

Indeed, Morgan was zoning out. She was still happy about the awesome date they had, and she was glad she and Morgan were together. Already, she was thinking up plans for the next one.

...Yeah, she was her mother’s daughter, all right.

“Hmm, but would she like that movie—” Iris could hear her muttered before the Raven faunus registered that her girlfriend was there. “Oh, hey Iris!”

"Morgan, p-please stop zoning o-out like that...I'm g-getting worried about y-you...", Iris said. "A-and what movie...?"

Welcome Home

Samuel pocketed his Scroll, but noticed that by the time he had, they had managed to make it to the dormitory. It looked... very much like a dorm, really. There wasn't too much about it that seemed to stand out, which he supposed was a good thing. Better a nice, clean dorm to spend your time in than a messed up place.

"Given the fact I am prooooooobably in a time crunch, your dorm sounds nice. Thanks for the save, man. I owe you two."

Dorm

Grinning, Connor said "Dinnae worry about it. I've no doubt you'd do the same for me if our roles were reversed. C'mon follow me"

With that, Connor would lead Samuel to Team ATMC's dorm where he'd gesture to a rather empty corner of the room. "Just toss it on my bed over there, I dinnae use it much anyways."

Team ATMC Dorm

Sam nodded to Connor. Within a few seconds he was done dropping off his things - his bag was lowered onto the bed first, and made it visibly sag. A fairly lightweight helmet - looking closer to a bike helmet than a military helmet - was hanging from it by a karabiner clip.

The second thing to go was his flak jacket - it came off and was draped unceremoniously over the backpack.

"...and that's about it, I've got everything I need in the backpack. Let's hope this didn't cost us, ah?"

Dian blinked, looking at Dian. "What was that for?" She was still half asleep.

Lewd

Marvin made a disgusted face. "I know what you're implying, but come on, I'm not going to take shots of the queen when my own mom and dad are...yeah." He shuddered, trying to remove the image from his mind.

Morning Princess

A tap on the back of the shoulder would get Lena's attention, prompting her to turn and see Marvin smiling with a wave. "I can try and take care of Nat, if you want."

Waiting For Class.

...Well, catching a glimpse of the new kid walking off to his dorm made James slowly looked around at everyone else present. Most of them seemed to be talking about yesterday from what he could gather, while others seemed to be taking their time to show up...

...Mint's probably buried under paperwork and Ullioc and his...art might have kept him up all night. At least...the teacher's running late.

"U-Um, s-so..." He WAS hoping to start a conversation, but nervously retreated, afraid of interrupting someone else.

"It's fine, Q. You can stay." Lena said. She seemed to be in a better mood after that hug from her boyfriend. Still pissed...but better.

"Raggy, I'll hold you to that." She smiled at him.

Then, Marv appeared. "Shiznit! Don't sneak up on me like that! And what the heck do you mean by take care of?!"

Lewdness

"Please, like you couldn't snap one photo of the Queen without your parents in the shot." Scarlet scoffed in reply. She paused. "Unless...oh my, that aggressive, really?" She asked with a devilish grin.

Monday

Scarlet wandered into the room, a cup of coffee in her hand and clearly still half asleep. She promptly collapsed into a seat nearby the group. "Mondays are severely overrated." She mumbled, her eyelids flickering.

Lood

Marvin shuddered. "Please...please don't. I didn't want or need that image." He said as he held his head in his hands.

Present

"Morning Red." He waved to her with a grin. "Anyway, Lena, I could get her to leave you and Rags alone."

Lewd

Scarlet pressed herself up against Marvin. "Oh, what's wrong Lily-chan? You're bi. Surely you have no trouble admitting the objective attractiveness of your parents." She continued on with a gleeful tone, the evil look never leaving her face.

Monday

The biker replied by throwing a heavy looking notebook directly at her partner's face.

MONDAY

Dian walked over, sitting next to lena. "Hello Princess."

"You betcha." He replied to Lena, holding her in his loving embrace and grinning like a goofball.

Then Marvin approached with his proposition, causing Raggy to raise an eyebrow. "That would be pretty swell. What do you have in mind though?" He asked, looking at the other gray-hair intently.
