Troper pets, anyone?

My dog of 10 years got put down a few months ago.

I hope I don't have to put down my parakeet. She has a weird growth on the side of her head, vet says might be inflammation and might be cancer. Cancer is rather common in birds that old, she's at least eight.

She now wears one of these cone things that go on pets' heads, it's adorable, she hates it so much. From time to time, she shoves into my hands, as if to say "What do you think this is? Take it off. Is this a game to you?"

I've got two nine year old cats, Lucy and Walker. both are really sweet and people loving. Walker loves to sit on Da's lap, and Lucy likes to sleep under the covers of my bed.

before cats we had 19 hamsters over the space of 6 years—they kept breeding. All but three of the hamsters died of natural causes—two ran away, and one was murdered by a rat.

A grumpy old chihuahua named Pita, a turtle named Ronnie, and five fish who are all named The Fishies.

I WAS going to be getting a kitten in two years. as a wedding gift. but that's not happening now, so.

I have a dog who is like 13-14 he is fairly big, very gentle, needs 3 walks a day. I also have a kitten who is like 3 months he is very energetic and fast, and a handful (I have been having to rinse minor injuries under water a lot), we only intervene when he is being mean to the dog. Likes to try to join us on the dog's walk, and needs to be put.

Turned out to be not cancer after all, just an infection.

I've got a cat named Sebastian, a little Parakeet named Rico, and two dachshunds; Rosie and Oakley.

They're all very cute and I love them so much.

Technically he's not mine. My sister has a dog. His name is Simba, and his breed is indeterminate because she got him from an animal welfare group. He's medium size, he has green-grey eyes and golden-brown fur. He's extremely active and rather playful when he's in the mood for it.

Currently have one 13yo Russian blue named Jem. He's giving me the cold shoulder at the moment because I went away for three weeks and failed to attend daily afternoon lap sessions.

Also my brother has a rabbit that lives in his room, named Stormageddon or just Stormie.

A rabbit called Stormageddon, huh.

I've got a female gray tabby cat named Dusty. Got her when she was abandoned at only around a month old so I've raised her since she had to be hand-fed and the first week or so I had to use a wet washcloth in order to get her to do her business (made it super easy to litter train her, at least).

She is my precious little baby. Yes, even when she nibbles my toe or claws my arm.

I used to have an American Bulldog named Gypsy and a Bearded Dragon named Psycho. We named him that because he used to scratch at the cage when we first got him on my 7th birthday. He was 2 when I got him. He died the day before my birthday last year due to an aneurysm. Gypsy was not a very bright dog, but she was loving. Me and my dad were the only ones who took care of her. She died of old age (and an eye infection) near the end of last year. I currently have a Greek Tortoise named Sigma. I got him last year over two months after I lost Psycho. He doesn't do much, but I let him walk on my bed. I still haven't figured out his age yet.

Dusty is so cute when she's asleep.◊

I have three cats, a mouse and a tortoise.

Anaesthesia on animals that small is always a risk, but you can't really avoid it with surgery that is somewhat invasive.

She died yesterday.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that. :(

Hey. I have two mice in my room, a dog, and a cat. My brother also has his own mouse, and one of mine so that his doesn't get lonely.

(I wanted to post in a mouse thread, but all those are dead so I guess this one will have to do. It's also the most recent one so I really hope the mods don't kill it.)

I have a leopard gecko named Lakshmi and a South American cichlid.

Oh. I wasn't expecting that word to mean "fish".

Now I have four mice, and all of them have taken up snuggling in the car.
