Or as this site calls them, Platonic Caves.
Alongside Cloning Blues, this is one of my favorite kinds of stories. Plato's whole idea of someone being tied inside of a cave, believes that the shadows projected in front of them are reality, and must confront the truth that they've been living in a false reality. What are your favorite works that make use of this idea?
Two of mine are Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: Rebellion and The Matrix.
