Yay, I screwed up the title on my first post. It's "from a noob".

Hello TV Tropes Community,

I've just joined the website (and like many, I've been surfing around here for quite some time), and being a real life Dungeons And Dragons DM, I thought I would host a roleplaying game here, but looking at some recent examples, I think it might be problematic to create a short D&D adventure on the forums— that is, an actual one, with proper character sheets, skills, battles etc (obviously streamlined quite a bit to fit the forums). The problems lie in not being in one room, making decisions together (most importantly, combat together) and having to wait for others to respond.

So my question is, is it possible to create such an RP experience on the forums? Is it manageable? Would anyone want such a thing?

I'm sure you can! If you need dicerolls, there are plenty of online plugins or websites that give you such, and if you can come up with/have a list of skills, then go for it!

And then there was silence
