We do have Male Frontal Nudity and it seems odd to omit the other gender. For female nudity it seems to stop at Nipple and Dimed. Are we afraid to touch the subject as demonstrated with Panty Shot?

I am guessing that people think of breasts when they talk about "female frontal nudity", meaning that it gets troped as breast tropes.

The trope is also partially about that double standard.

Male Frontal Nudity requires the exposure of the man's crotch; anything else, and it's not actually considered nudity. However, there are two areas on the front of a woman's body that, if exposed, are considered nudity: the crotch and the chest. Therefore, while Male Frontal Nudity can all be lumped together, since it's all the same, Female Frontal Nudity gets divided based on what sort of nudity it is: topless, pantsless, or full frontal.

Full frontal female nudity only exposes the breasts. A woman's vagina can't be seen clearly unless a close-up is made, unlike a man's penis which full frontal always reveals. That's part of why.

Let's not derail this thread with precise descriptions of anatomy. My guess is that Nipple and Dimed is intended to cover the female side of things and that going any further would risk our Moral Guardian overlords pulling our ads again.

^^ I beg to differ: Full Frontal female nudity means that the pubic mound is visible, as are the breasts, including areolae and nipples. Anything else is "Partial frontal female nudity." You don't have to see the vagina itself or labia for it to count.
