Note that outside of this wiki, "adrenaline time" is used as a synonym for bullet time.
For example, as that other wiki states, "Bullet time (also known as adrenaline time ...) is a visual effect ..." So it looks like somebody tried to be clever by naming a trope after the exact opposite of what it means
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Yeah, looks like a pretty clear-cut case of a bad name, to me.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Should it be renamed, then? And if so, what should it be called?
Palpare Tropo: Grope the Trope!Speed Time, maybe? This is one of those that's hard to do without a super-long and overly descriptive name.
@Discar: Speed Time sounds good.
@Spark 9: Fast Forward Shot also sounds good. I'm not sure if there's a technical term for this. I've heard it referred to as "Avid Fart" editing, although that term usually refers to MTV-style editing in general and not this trope specifically.

Adrenaline Time is when a shot starts at normal speed, speeds up, and then returns to normal speed. However, most of the examples on that page are actually Bullet Time, which is when a shot starts at normal speed, slows down, and then returns to normal speed. It's a subtle difference, but it's a difference none the less.
I'll go through the examples one by one:
There seems to be a lot of confusion going on between this trope and Bullet Time. Maybe the description should be changed?
