I mostly wanted it so I could play it when I'm not at home (mostly when I'm at the office and have a big gap between drops) or somewhere comfortable.
Also because my 64 finally kicked the bucket a couple months ago. The controllers had mostly died already, but it took the console something like 15 years to finally die.
My biggest concern is how the three-day time limit will work on a portable. The most important thing about a portable game is that it has to be consumable in small increments. As in, you have to be able to only play for ten minutes, and not lose progress when you stop. Perhaps being able to do a permanent save at all owl statues, not just one-time-saves.
mudshark: I don't expect Nate to make sense, really.Sleep mode. While it isn't perfect, it's much better to be able to stop, as long as you have the juice.
Completely time freezes my Animal Crossing town while I have my 3DS closed.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."How much power is used in sleep mode?
And how long will a game in sleep mode last before it runs out of power?
One Strip! One Strip!I usually use my 3DS for music to and from work, with it spending around five hours in sleep mode in between. It's always had plenty of battery left when I get home.
How much...
An easy example to say: In my entire 8 hours of school I could turn it on and put on sleep mode and when school ends it'll be around 2 bars left. With a game(or anything) On...It'd be dead after about 5 hours.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. That sounds like a battery issue. I've left my 3DS in sleep mode with a game running for 5-6 hours at a time and still be able to play for a couple before and after.
How much of a difference is there if it has the lowest brightness setting and is in power save mode?
Personally, I'd prefer if the 'net was a little friendlier, but you know the GIFT...A 3DS can stay on Sleep Mode all day with the wireless on (for Street Pass) with a full charge.
Though they should just give the ability to save anywhere in a handheld game. Batteries can be a moody mistress.
Revamped Bombers Notebook to help you find all of the hidden events.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Yea, my 3DS can stay on for a couple days in sleep mode (extended battery pack).

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."OH. This game looks great!
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogAnnnnnd it's gone.
Is this a Jo Jo reference?Where are you hearing this from? Is there any sort of report on this?
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogAlready seeing some interesting differences.
Seems like there's a new frog enemy, and Odolwa has an eye on the back of his head now. I'm hoping that doesn't meaning the latter now only has a very specific window in which he can get hit or something - isn't his dancing enough of a tell?
Ah. I thought it was the game itself.
Hmmm. Interesting. It defitnly seems like there's going to be a lot more differences than either Oo T 3D or WW HD had.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogLooks like the Owl statues now permasave, with the new feather statues presumably doing quick saves.
The Song of Time no longer saves your game.
Mind you, If Owl Statues still need the sword to be unlocked, you still can't save on the first cycle.
I have a message from another time...So each day is represented by a separate bar.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. So I went to pre-order MM new 3DS and it sold out.
1. That's bullshit.
2. It doesn't seem to come with the game. Why the hell not?
Man I really want that game.
Cuz it's sold out.
It's two months until release. Make more dammit.
This remake, like Ocarina 3D, was outsourced to Greezo. It's not like this is taking away from actual big new games like Zelda U or Splatoon. That and we're getting 2-4 new IP's next year from Nintendo, plus a continuation of a very new one, so that part has been satisfied in the short run.
