Opened.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm not sure if the character has to kill both parents for this to count but yes, the image is just a face and a speech bubble. There's not even a weapon to be seen.
Not crazy about that one.
Houw about this one of Stewie (dreaming about) killing Lois?
I don't see killing in any of those pictures. What are you referring to?
Try this link◊.
As for the suggestion itself, it just looks like he's dreaming about killing a random person. I would like some indication that the victim is the attacker's parent.
All I see in those links is ads.
FWIW, the example listing of the current clarifies that the girl (as I thought I recalled) framed her mother for her father's murder, resulting in the mother's execution, so she did take out both parents.
Still, it's pretty weak for already mentioned reasons.
Stewie dreaming about killing Lois is already on Antagonistic Offspring.
Itachi killing his parents.
[1]◊
That would actually work really well.
These are his parents?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanProbably needs a caption to clarify that, since it's not so obvious
or a collage with this photo family [1]◊
That's really not necessary. This isn't really open for misinterpretation.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. In 11 they look like him, especially the mother.
11 is good.
11 is not too bad, but I'm not opposed to the idea of collage. They don't look like his parents — at least to me. For all I know, they could be his random victims.

The tendency of Only Six Faces style in doesn't really help, either, though I'd prefer a caption rather than a collage.
I'm not seeing any indication of a familial tie in 11. (It doesn't help that the lower part of the attacker's face is covered—not that I see a strong family resemblance in the other picture of them anyway.)
Given the trope name, I think people will be able to draw the conclusion that those are supposed to be his parents.
By that logic, it doesn't matter if we even use an image that's an actual example, as long as the victims look somewhat like a mother and father. And it's not even like it's a very hard thing to show—all we have to do is find an image where the attacker is a child, and the implication will be made clear.

I'd also prefer a caption rather than a collage.
The image on Self-Made Orphan doesn't add anything: the caption and text bubble do all the work. Also, it's not an example as the girl in the picture kills her father but not her mother, meaning she's not in fact an orphan.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
