So the current image is of Joanof Arc,and this trope is about characters like her. A collage,as suggested in the other threadI can't think of a fourth one yet

Opening and the image has been moved to Joan Of Arc per the latter's thread.

[up][up]How about we just use three images and use an uncropped version of Snow White for the right panel. That image don't look so good with only the top half visible.

Like this?

The non Collage suggestion is the Repanse De Lyonesse model from Warhammer Fantasy

Edit, this was best I could do.

2nd one is really hard to make out in the vertical collage.

And the first one barely looks like a woman.

I don't like either of the lower two suggestions because they look like just 'woman in armor' and this is more than that.

Mulan is squashed, and so is the first one. You should really lock the aspect ratio when resizing images. I really don't mind the anime one, and I actually like it. It's not just a woman in armor. It's shiny, white armor, which makes her look like a pure-hearted leader, possibly even devout. She clearly looks inspired by Joan of Arc, or at least "fits the archetype."

I was rather tired when I made the collage,my bad.

Edit,I'm honestly happier going with a single image

Okay, we could go with the woman in shiny armor and blue or the woman with an army behind her or the woman holding a banner. If there was one image with some combination of those things that would be best.

This? Seem to fit all the criteria you mentioned [up].

Assuming it looks good at the right scale, that would be great.

That looks great. I cropped off the left side.

13 is fine with me, though I slightly prefer 8. I usually don't love anime images, but these two are great.

13 looks better IMO, as it doesn't just look like she's just posing for something. Plus, the background and the action makes it more interesting and... Action-y.

13 would be very good but I do have one question. That is the settings actual Joan of Arc so is it still this trope?

[up]Does it matter? It looks this trope; whether or not it actually qualifies as an example is a lesser concern.

(Though, for all that matter, I only started looking for that pic because it's in the example list)

Does it matter?

That's why I asked in the first place. To be honest I don't think fictionalised versions of Joan herself should be on the page but that is a discussion for another place and time.

So do we have enough support to go with 13?

"And a woman shall lead them, be betrayed by them, and die for them." or something along those lines.
