lol well, anyone who is interested can certainly join in. The tournaments will be pretty great, allowing for up to 64 people.
I'm curious what kind of settings they will have, like if you can make it so that matches start out as 4 player singles, or 2v2.

I probably won't be participating in any tournaments since I don't have a Wii U though.
Of course I namedropped you, Customer! I mean, I stress out a lot playing this game, but you, Fullmoon and Pulse's ROB and Mii Gunner were the only encounters I remember that made me feel like I was getting helplessly murdered.
(Don't feel bad about it, though? I wasn't all that distraught during that fight against your Megaman, and I don't know if that's because of the fact or if it caused the fact that I somehow managed to lose track of how many lives I had and was all surprised when the game was over and you still had two left.)
(Just preempting any bad feelings my comment might cause because my whining already made you feel bad once! That ain't good.)

So, do online matches count towards your number normal Smash matches? Because I was going to try to unlock everyone by just playing normal Smash. It'd be awesome if playing online counted towards that!
I won't have it for a couple of hours though, it comes out in about 3 1/2 hours.

I think they do, because I had a few times where turning the game off from Online matches and then turning it back on brought up the milestones and 2 secret characters.
