Gran Torino is basically Yoda. That probably helped.
or a hero from a 90s comic.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Make that an Anti-Hero from the 90s.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie.""Anti" and "90s" are somewhat redundant together.
That's not exactly true Astro City was written in the 90's.
All of time and space, anywhere and everywhere, any star that ever was. Where do you want to start?Yeah, I can think of a lot of real good, optimistic works from the 90s. Not many from Marvel, admittedly.
While their are still a good amount of anti-heroes still around these days especially new modern ones. Stain's extremely grim & gritty design is distinctively 90s.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Baku and Deku flee in this weeks chapter after the explosion goes off, escaping. All Mights decides to get serious since they worked together as he coughs blood. Todoroki inspires Momo into believing in herself when he reveals he voted for her to be the class president.
Also her quirk appears to be a mutant type as she activates it despite Aizawa making eye contact with her and using his cloth.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I think it might be the brief time Eraserhead blinks or looks away. He is shown stopping her quirk earlier in the chapter
Could she have created contact lenses to distort his power?
Then she'd heve to put them directly on his eyes. The way I see it Eraserhead purposefuly let Momo get away to try to get her to be more confident or something like that.
I like that the author is exploring her character instead of focusing just on the main trio (not that Todoroki isn't getting some development himself in this test). I wonder if he'll show some of the other students' exams too.
Also Momo must be a genius for knowing how to areate perfectly functional flashbangs with her ability. To be fair she doesn't need to be a hero. She should be able to become millionaire just by using her powers to make whatever she or anyone needs.
Might depend on whether or not Momo's creations have a limited shelf life.
She could just make pure solid gold and be rich instantly. But yeah is a concern that hasn't really been explained.
So next chapter should be bout those 2 hopefully the other teams get focus like Uravity (I'm using their super names!) seriously I wanna see the new tricks she learned during training camp.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Chapter's out.
But anyway, I'm glad Eraserhead didn't just let her go, that would go against the entire purpose of this exercise and would be counterproductive.

Not bad.
Deku and Bakugou bring out the worst in each other (I blame Bakugou to be honest), but if they can work together, they'll be a fearsome team. And Yazorou(sp) found her backbone again.
I hope we get to see how the other teams are doing as well.
One Strip! One Strip!I'd have said that was an inferiority complex out of nowhere, but I did notice that she always fails despite supposedly being at the top of the class.
She is pretty clever too. Creating Flash bangs in those Dolls she was creating.
She clearly is not a mutant type. She just found out that Aizawa when he erases her quick does not erase her objects.
He can stop her from creating more stuff, but he can't erase what she's already made.
So someone with a similar power to Yazoru would be a bad match for him.
She's should have created a tranq-gun.
Not that blinding him isn't a good strategy and all.
One Strip! One Strip!I think a tranq gun would be way too complicated cause not only do ya gotta make the gun & dart but also the chemical to knock someone out.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Correct she has to know all the components to make something. Which is why her intelligence is such a big help to her power.
All these negative qualities concerning their connection to each other just makes Deku and Baku the perfect team. I love it.
But man All Might might want to tone it down. Getting damaged that hard when he's already on death's door will likely decrease his personal time limit.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. You could argue that because he has so little time left that he has to keep pushing so that Deku can continue to improve with One For All, in addition to becoming a better hero in general.
I mean, the kid will have to face the user of All For One who fucked up All Might in the first place, so the big guy has to make sure he's done everything he can for him.
One Strip! One Strip!
Stain did kind of feel like a villain from a western comic, so that might have worked out in his favour. Not sure about Gran Torino though.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!
