Anyway the image looks alright, they certainly look like hippies. I can not stop seeing the mother as someone in middle school though due to above lawl.
Still, next time TC it would be best if you had a suggestion already ready when making a suggestion topic instead of 'oh hey X example would make a great image. Go find it!'.

11/15 is a lot less clear on who the parents are. And I'm not seeing the "hippie" aspect too much either.
Flower dress, no shoes, John Lennon circular glasses, peace symbol belt buckle... looks pretty hippy-ish to me. Plus, they're both taller than their son, who completely looks like an Evil Genius with the cloak.

Well, there's no image yet. I think Mandark's parents from Dexter's Laboratory would make a good example but I can't find any high quality screencaps of them, especially with Mandark
