So I'm reading prey for the first time and it's got me thinking, do Michael Crichton's books take place in the same fictional universe? Did In Gen exist along side ITC, Norton Aircraft and Digi Com?

I think we have another thread for Michael Crichton.

And, no I don't think so. I don't recall any of the hints that would suggest a shared world. I think all of his works ran on Like Reality, Unless Noted, the "unless noted" being things like InGen existing alongside IBM or Muldoon working for a Tigerland park while Arnold worked for Disneyworld.

There is a one off reference to biosyn outside of Jurassic park/the lost world. I forget which book that was in.

Next, I believe. Crichton's other book about genetic engineering.

Anyway, if Crichton's books all take place in a shared universe, it's one where Levine is a much more common last name than it is in real life.

I didn't write any of that.
