I'm so-so on the pic/caption combo...open to options. The suggestion doesn't seem to fit the trope definition...and speaking of, the examples are rife with ZC Es.
I am fine with current although the Hyrule Warriors version of her might be better◊ as it's got an air of she might be trouble.
The suggestion is just not this trope, it isn't about literal imps and anyway it looks to be more along the lines of an Incubus and the like.
EDIT: this one is an option too imo◊

I don't think the suggestion in OP is any less JAFAAC. Also makes me think less of the trope.

Check out my fanfiction! To be honest, I find the trope definition as written a bit murky, so I'm not exactly sure if Midna counts as an example. What I do see, though, is an image of a literal imp, which I'm worried might encourage misunderstanding.
The current sort-of looks like the trope; it may be evil but it doesn't really look capable of doing so.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree that the trope is rather murky; the description is all over the place and contradicts itself, whereas most of the examples are about literal imps. If this is not intended to be about literal imps, then that needs some editing.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! The laconic is "A (usually small) character that serves as a non-threatening nuisance." I assume it's those type of mischievous, irritating creatures that likes to troll, but aren't actively malevolent.
Any thoughts on @6?

Those seem way more than a 'non-threatening nuisance'
Which is pretty ironic considering what was going on in that scene...
Okay, so is this "a non-threatening nuisance"? A character with so many sins but too slothful to do anything? A literal small winged devil? Something else?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! From the description, A Chaotic Neutral mascot which usually hangs around with the good guy(s) and usually do not straight up fight. They tend to be mischievous, snarky, lazy, pragmatic, spoiled, etc. they are not quite Token Evil Teammate but don't mind leaning on that wall.

Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!@10: How so? It looks just like some potentially-harmful-but-not-malevolent prank to me. But maybe this◊ one should look less threatening?
Clock is set.
Motion to pull as JAFAAC.
No opinion as to replacement right now.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Seconded.
I personally think it could be better but is not a JAAFAC with that smirk.

Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No action is to be taken based on this thread.
Not having played Twilight Princess, I really have no idea who the character shown on The Imp is, or why she would be an example of the trope. Motion to pull on grounds of JAFAAC. Doing some google research into the game suggests that this is a Deadpan Snarker helper character, which means that she wouldn't be an example of this trope anyway.
I would suggest just depicting a traditional imp, such as this one◊ (but it's pretty easy to find alternatives with GIS).
