Move it there, yes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe move makes sense.
So....is this image any relevant?◊ It's a scissor crushing rock.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. There must be oodles of pictures out there of fighting elemental mons or mages or whatever where the winner has an element that is obviously weak against the loser, mustn't there?
I googled a bunch of pokemon pairings and the best I found was this.◊ I guess it might work but I think you guys should be able to find something better.

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I actually like that. It's a really big pair of scissors against a small rock.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. The current image should not be moved to Infinity +1 Element. It is not an example of that trope. Frederick ignores the weapon triangle not because he has another weapon type that beats those weapons, but because he's so powerful that it doesn't matter what weapon he has, he wins anyway (atleast early on).
I like that too!
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. So basically, that image illustrates Infinity +1 Element, but is an example of Scissors Cuts Rock? Assuming he's got one of the weapons in the triangle, that is. Otherwise it's still Infinity +1 Element.
Check out my fanfiction!I like the image in #4, it's both a clear example of this trope and a nice visual.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!5 is good. 4 is overly literal.
5 is fantastic
When life gives you rocks, you get bigger scissors.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."5 looks really cool but their type is not that obvious... caption something like "Normally, water beats fire, but that's a little water against a big fire." to reinforce that, maybe?
Vote against 4; don't see how it's an example of "has type advantage but loses anyway".

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. So the important part of that is that he's not suitable for an image on either page.
Check out my fanfiction! He's not an example of either, but I think the current image works in Infinity +1 Element since he's not shown using any of the elements of the triangle.
He's an example of Scissors Cuts Rock, but I can see how the image could be interpreted as Infinity +1 Element instead.

From what I see of the page image and this conversation, sword users have an advantage against axe users, axe users have an advantage over spear users, and spear users have an advantage over sword users, but even if Frederick has a sword he can still easily beat spear users because he's so strong. That sounds like a valid example to me.
Also, even if the image in post 4 does not actually represent the trope, it can still be an acceptable page image because non-representative images have been accepted before due to providing an amusing play on the trope's name.

It is a valid example. This should be an easy one to visualize even better though. Most people have internalized some of the more common Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors combos, a picture of some sort of lighting attack destroying an earth monster or a fire overwhelming a water thingy ought to work fine.
Bleh I am not finding anything in GIS but I am sure something is out there, it is not that abstract a concept.
I thought many people know what a Squirtle and a Charizard is already by Pop-Cultural Osmosis.
Many people, sure, but not enough to avoid being Fan Myopia. You can't count on people recognising them.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, I don't think my suggestion works on it's own, but since the scary-looking mon is a fire-breathing dragon and the other one a blue turtle, a caption saying something about water usually beating fire could probably make it work.
Though, again, I'm sure it's possible to find something better.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.Water puts out fire. Everyone knows that. So a caption like, "That's probably not gonna be enough water to put out that fire."
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed."We're gonna need more water to put out this fire."
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Simply put, the image on Scissors Cuts Rock is not an example of that trope, but of the related-but-different trope Infinity +1 Element. I propose to move it there.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!
