We never had Gargoyles shown around here, so it took me years realizing what were the Lawn Gnomes parodying.
Meh. This show was too obnoxious for me. The theme song was great though.
Supports cartoons being cartoony!Don't forget when he taught how to say "Who cut the cheese" in French.
Qui a coupé le fromage?
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."@5 I was in high school French at the time, as was my best friend. We were hanging out together watching Freakazoid! on the morning that episode first aired. We had problems breathing from laughing too hard.

I thought the other WB cartoons of the era were stronger overall (the tension between the producers and the show runners was obvious and hurt a few episodes), but it was still classic. It was the show that taught me to appreciate Ed Asner, it was the show that introduced the world to Candle Jack, it was the show that taught me the comic timing of the ridiculous segue, and most importantly, it was the show th
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Oh yeah... I forgot about Sgt. Cosgrove. One of Ed Asner's best roles.
"Hey, Freakazoid, wanna go to Spumoniland?"
It was still a more solid show than Animaniacs would be in its last two seasons, so there's that.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."apparently they had Cthlu in one episode
yes really, also a guy who turned people into statues
this music plays whenever I post also a boxExcept he's renamed Vorn the Unspeakable, and is only slightly bigger than a human.
I wonder if Freakazoid being friends with a literal cop(cosgrove) would be issue if they ever did a reboot of this show?
also their cops parody is great
I love this show. XD
Heaven is a tropical rainforest.
Talk about this great mid-90s WB cartoon.
Out of the WB comedy cartoons of the 90s, this one is probably the best. It was probably the most solid out of them all next to Pinky And The Brain, and was one of the most out-there shows I've ever seen.
Thoughts?
