He had a lot of demons, from friends of mine in the industry.
I am too... I just had a film class this semester where we watched one of his films and we discussed his acting and how wonderfully he approaches his roles and it feels so much harsher in hind sight knowing this.
My heart goes out to his family.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. It's a sad day, for the world of entertainment, and world in general.
Just spoke briefly to Roseanne Barr and Bruce Vilanch about it.

I know my feeling regarding the matter is nothing compared to that of his family, but i'm truly heartbroken about this. Robin was one of my favorite comedians of all time, and to see him pass away is just devastating. He will definitely be missed.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! You are so kidding me.
I know its a bit slightly unrelated, but one article I read announcing the news mentioned his signing on to play Mrs. Doubtfire in whatever sequel they were trying to make.
I somewhat hope that the sequel won't move forward after this. I feel like Mr. Williams was the one who made that movie and made that role what it is and a sequel shouldn't go forth without him. Don't recast the role, or remake the original now, just leave it where it is.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Roseanne Barr and Goldie Hawn saying it's a hoax.
His publicists have confirmed that he is dead. I really really wish this were a hoax, but he is dead.
Rest in peace.
May he rest in peace.
Gotta watch his Aristocrats appearance.
I believe his wife and his publicist more.

@Another Guy: Sorry, but that article is from 2012. I think it might be the real deal this time.

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! He's been fighting depression for awhile from what I've heard but you'd never know it.
There's some quote of "Sometimes, the one who laughs the loudest is the one who feels quiet inside"... I probably just totally butchered that quote and I'm terribly sorry, but I think I got the point across.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Well. Not a hoax. :/
"You can reply to this Message!"What a tragedy....I'm of loss for words...
RIP

He will be missed and his memory certainly cherished.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimThis is...Jesus. I always felt he was underrated as a talented actor - he won an Oscar of course, but was mostly thought of for his wacky comedy. But even a lot of his comedic roles had a tragic undertone, and that includes some of the more famous ones like Patch Adams and Good Morning Vietnam. Clearly his personal struggles were infusing the characters in that way. He was unique and will be sadly missed.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.May he laugh genuinely in peace.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish? This is a pretty big shock.
If the reported cause of death is indeed what happened, that's simply tragic. God rest his soul and hope for his family and friends.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I'm not surprised that some thought it was a hoax. I thought it was a hoax until the mainstream media started running with it. We're living in the age of easily spread/believed bullcrap, after all.
Just this afternoon I was talking with my Mom about the genius of the Genie in Aladdin. Sometimes he has chosen poor roles but his comedic genius was evident wherever he went, even in non-comedic like Good Will Hunting and actually bad films like Patch Adams. His struggles with drug use has been well known and comedians often struggle with depression, it's how they cope.
Damn this is a sad day.
I was listening and singing along to an Aladdin Medley on You Tube when I read the news and the video had just reached A Fried Like Me/Prince Ali. : /

I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Well, I know from some of the people who knew him he was always moody and quiet when not performing. He had a lot of drug abuse and had depression before.
I'm honestly at a loss for words.
