If we do decide to merge, we may have to find more appropriate tropes for some of the examples that don't fit here, and won't fit in the supertrope either. Because the level of misuse is just that bad.
In fact, we probably don't have to wait to do that sort of cleanup, since those examples don't belong here not matter what we decide to do.

Many are using the trope name literally, and since "a list of fraternal twins in fiction" are not a trope, they can just be deleted. Otherwise, I've noticed some examples being more suited for Paper-Thin Disguise, Identical Twin ID Tag, and something along those lines. Those with no clear context should be removed as well.

I agree, examples that are merely fraternal twins can go. That's not a trope. The other tropes you suggested also look good.
The crowner is also starting to look pretty conclusive, so I think we may be just about ready to go on this one. (Though a few more votes wouldn't hurt.)
