Echoing Echoing Silence last page, what the hell is up with Fred and Shaggy's knees? That's really the only thing bugging me about the art design. Other than that, I'm mostly neutral to them (though they do remind me of The 7D designs somewhat) and would like to see how the animation is.

Mabey they'll post an animation test soon.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceJudging by tne designs, my highest bet is flash.

Supports cartoons being cartoony!Hopefully it'll be better than the Flash animation in the newest Tom & Jerry, which is downright pathetic.
Huh, find it amusing how I see people talk about Velma's attractiveness in pretty every Scooby-Doo piece of media accept A Pup Named Scooby Doo (for obvious reasons). I will admit I don't like the art style but I would reserve my judgement until I watch it....

Well, this exists...
Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756I just read the image in the first post again, and I really don't understand the whole obsession with "stylized", "simplistic", and sometimes "angular" character designs in a lot of cartoons. As long as they look appealing, it should be fine. The way characters are designed shouldn't dictate the cartoon itself. It's like I'm watching interpretations of 50s/60s styles, except less clever :/

Supports cartoons being cartoony! They say it's "easier for the outsourcing studios to animate".
OK, so apparently, this is a test reel of the new show:

What do you guys think of it?
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Hmm, that did seem funny, but that was one scene. Seemed more like an adult cartoon than I was expecting too.
That light gag was too long though, and HOW DID DAPHNE EVEN THROW HER FLASHLIGHT THAT FAR?!
If the rest of the show though does end up turning out like that, it should be pretty good. It seems like it's going a Scooby Doo parody route, which I could see working and being pretty funny!

Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756.... why does the youtube channel have the name "Klasky Csupo" on it?
Uh...
Well, I get what they're going with with the humor style, at least. And if one of the producers really is liked to Family Guy, I can definitely see that - it has a very "adult cartoon" sort of flat, "everybody being stupid except for that one guy with the bored voice" humor. Fred even feels like if they gave Dipper Brian's personality. And on a further note, a reliance on gags featuring the characters doing obviously stupid things while someone dryly points out that they're being stupid.
I'm guessing this show was written to be funny to fans who like that sort of humor (it's going to draw in a portion of the Periphery Demographic, that's for sure), but frankly it's that kind of humor that drove me away from everything on Adult Swim with the exception of The Boondocks, so I'll wait and see the show itself before deciding whether or not I'm excited. I have a feeling that either way, if she's written like this the whole time, I'm probably now going to like this show's version of Daphne. Or Fred, for that matter.
On the other hand, while the humor style made me groan in general, everything that Scooby and Shaggy said or did at least got a smile out of me. "Let's go to a 24 hour diner, wait 'til morning, then stay at the diner" was legitimately hilarious.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Something about the writing makes me think of its predecessor Mystery inc and Mike Tyson Mysteries. Only thing that makes me cringe is the Mac Farlane esque designs. I'll get over them but I wish they tweaked the eyes on the ones that aren't Velma.
that pilot clip was actually pretty funny. Shaggy's line about the diner reminded me of stuff he'd usually say to get out of investigations in the original show and What's New Scooby Doo.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not."Reath Rap???"
"Higher education!?"
That got a good laugh out of me.
I didn't mind the new designs, but it still felt a little too...disproportionate with the character's bodies compared to the other not-Pup-Named shows. Still, I was really feeling the test footage, felt like the almost-parody vibe the first two live action movies were going for while actually keeping true to the show and character's cores.
Hopefully, we can get a look at the final version of the show sometime soon.

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Well, that test was funny. I'm not sure what they're going for with Daphne here. Is she supposed to be ditzy or something?
Fanfiction I hate.I have to admit that there were some legitimately funny jokes in there, but the whole thing seems too much like nothing but a series of jokes, and the characters are nothing but set-ups for jokes... the whole thing gives me the impression that this series is going to be nothing but an excuse to keep producing more Family Guy except in a different setting.
It does seem like it continues CN's desire to take old properties and remake them into comedies satirizing onto themselves, like Teen Titans Go.
That was not a bad clip. Flash light thing did go on a bit, but it had a small pay-off to the hand puppet gag at the start, I chuckled at that. "That defies the laws of physics, THAT defines the laws of MAN" also got me giggling
It's got some promise, I'll give it that (I did get more than a few chuckles here and there) but the thing with Daphne and her puppets is forced as hell and I still can't get over the McFarlane-lite designs. They look quite terrible.
As long as it has some creative and clever writing behind it, I'll bite. Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated will forever be my favorite Scooby Doo installment, but I can see myself getting into this one should it capitalize on what it has going for it.
Still echo the fears that it will be Family Guy-lite tho.

I'm having to learn to pay the priceThey call it the B^Uckley face?
Some of the jokes amused me, the appearance of The Creeper (or whatever that was) scared me, but...eh...I don't think this is going to be good.
He's being too nice! I'm Satan and I purposely created this spawn to horrify everyone!
Maybe Scooby Doo fans will get a kick out of it, but definitely not for me. Aside from a few joks, it wasn't funny and the characters' look very weird.
aside from A Pup Named Scooby Doo, the cartoon's art style always bothered me.
Supports cartoons being cartoony!
I'm really not sure about the art style, but what I am sure about is I'd tap that Velma.
