Guess I'll add a brief concept.

Yoshikage Kira, at a very early age, meets Ichika Usami. The result is him cherishing the hands that make excellent food and vowing to protect the people those hands are attached to. Also, Killer Queen becomes Majin Buu.

Yoshikage Kirakira Precure.

I've always wanted to plop Yoshikage Kira into the player character's role of Fallout 4. There's something about Stands in Fallout I find appealing.

As I'm going through this series, a thought hit me:

Dio's mother lives instead of her dad. How does this change things?

She was clearly something of a Morality Pet for him (the only person he cared for). Perhaps with her influence tempering him, Dio would be less of an asshole. How many lives would be saved if he'd had her in his life? Or is her presence not enough to keep him from going down his dark path?

Makes an interesting story idea don't you think?

If you plan on reading the Manga at some point/in twelve years when we get the part seven anime, all I'll say is: The answer would surprise you.

So, I have no idea if it's against the rules to post it here, but I've had a Jojo/Naruto Xover out for half a year now. I already posted it in one thread, but since this is a Jojo thread instead of a general fanfiction thread, this may be the place to put it.

In Another World with Star Platinum, for those who would be interested. Also found on Spacebattles. I've been hoping I'd get a recommendation from somewhere on this site, but so far no good.

For anyone interested, I've been outlining a rewrite of Eyes of Heaven. The idea of every generation of the Joestars coming together is fascinating, but the game suffers from:

  • being a video game
  • Part 3 being pushed over the other parts
  • Jojolion being pretty new at the time it came out

Problem with my version being

  • I've not read or watched anything past Diamond is Unbreakable extensively
  • Jojolion is hard AF to write about
  • Writing around Gold Experience Requiem since any weaknesses or limitations it has are a WMG
  • Some of the fights are unavoidably anti-climatic (Pillar Men vs Stand users, Giorno vs anyone)
  • It's a rough outline

But I'm rather happy with some of the changes I've made like:

  • Jolyne getting an actual shot at Darby
  • Extending the Part 2 section and making the Pillar Men more threatening
  • Extending the Steel Ball Run segment and giving Jonathan more to do
  • Having some interaction between Giorno and Dio
  • Taking the focus away from "let's find a Corpse Part that corresponds with this Jojo protagonist!"

I am stuck at:

  • the point where all of the Jojo's are gathered in Morioh. I have them split up to search the town for clues and they all end up fighting different battles which takes them back to DIO.
  • using the "light rifts" to ferry them to different locations. Instead, having a single Corpse Part A) lets you see Stands, and B) acts as a sort of divining rod for anyone holding it. It seemed like a cool idea at the time but it's not really what the parts are supposed to do. That said, I didn't want to come up with a Stand for Speedwagon.

I just had a bizarre idea.

  • Stand Name: Time after Time
  • Ability: Upon activation, splits the timeline. Duplicates of every living individual are created in both timelines, and the actions and reactions of those people affect their doppelganger in both timelines. For instance, if User A cuts himself on a surface, User B will experience the same cut. If User B were to punch Enemy B in the face, Enemy A would get knocked back as if struck. The ability ends when User A or User B are killed.

It'd only work visually, seeing the outcomes of both fights. Heck, maybe the fight ends early and we're just following two different timelines that are intrinsically linked.

Sounds like a Stand for a final boss, what with having relation with time and all.

I'm using that idea in a fanfic about Shizuka Joestar.

Shizuka Joestar remained an emotionally stunted adopted daughter of the Joestar family. Her real parents were always a mystery to her. Her Stand, Achtung Baby, separated her from them while she was an infant, leading to her adoption by Joseph and Suzi Q-Joestar. Then, one day, her entire world fast-forwarded and changed around her. Her parents are gone, her house belonged to somebody else, and there are two people tracking her down with the intent of making her a permanent family member. Discovering an entire world of people with powers like hers, Shizuka wants to meet them and, eventually, survive them.

Shizuka Joestar - Shizuka was adopted and raised in America by Joseph and Suzi-Q. She was raised also by caretakers of the Joestar home, and her foster parents died of natural causes when she was a teenager. Slim of body, gym was not her favorite subject, and she quickly grew bored of classes. There are over 20 different lighters from 20 different gas stations and convenience stores hidden in her desk drawer. She often writes in a diary she keeps in her purse and keeps her opinions to herself. She doesn’t have a lot of friends, afraid that her abilities will be discovered or put others in jeopardy. This is because her Stand once injured a childhood friend of hers. Acting Baby is her Stand’s name and she’s had it since she was a baby. Her Stand activates as a defense mechanism when she is under stress, making her repress a great deal of her emotions while out in public, coming off as cold and aloof. Its primary ability is making her invisible with the side-effect of causing anything within a certain distance of her to do so as well, reaching a radius of several feet at full power. This effect lasts even once the target or victim is outside of the Stand’s range, but affected objects can also spread the effect on contact. Everything under Acting Baby’s influence is invincible, but can still be detected by sound, odor, and other biological signs. The invisibility ends once Shizuka’s emotional state calms after which she may or may not remain partially invisible. Her typical outfit is her school outfit, and she doesn’t have much of a fashion sense. Shizula’s goals are to find people with similar traits and make friends, and maintain the relationships she has. Stand Name: ACTING BABY. Destructive Power (E) Speed (E) Range (D) Persistence (A) Precision (E) Developmental Potential (A)

Other Stand users

Nirvana - It's ability is to erase any explanation and description of it. Stand Name: NIRVANA. Destructive Power (E) Speed (E) Range (D) Persistence (A) Precision (E) Developmental Potential (A)

Smooth Criminal - Its ability is that of a doppelganger, permanently acquiring the appearance, personality traits, and abilities of a selected target. This works detrimentally, as the target’s identity will largely erase the Stand User’s own, but for a few, instinctual characteristics, and as such the User must ensure that their original goals are at least partially in line with the victim. The User can reactivate and “switch” with a target as much as they like or are able, but it is possible for the user to forget about their Stand entirely if their new identity lacks knowledge of Stands. A side-effect of this ability is that the victim will become their doppelganger as well, and this process is irreversible. Stand Name: Smooth Criminal. Destructive Power (E) Speed (E) Range (E) Persistence (E) Precision (D) Developmental Potential (E)

Evanescence - The ability of this Stand is the creation of fog that both hides the presence of the user’s Stand from other Stand users (or at least anyone not looking for signs of its presence), and the exposure of other Stands to non-Stand users. Evanescence must consciously activate its camouflage from other Stands and may also project this gift to Stands it targets, but it is often used to make enemy Stands visible, causing a panic to anyone unaware of Stand battles taking place. The nature of this Stand allows it to resist most conventional damage by disassembling itself into smoke. Its effects end when the user is unconscious or killed. Stand Name: EVANESCENCE. Destructive Power (E) Speed (C) Range (D) Persistence (A) Precision (B) Developmental Potential (E)

Sugar Town - Its ability is to make anyone who takes a bite from it turn into an apple themselves. The only way to reverse the effect is to make the user release the effect; however, the Stand’s ability has a devastating mental effect: anyone transformed into an apple will be compelled to resume being an apple. This is shown ranging from hanging themselves from a tree, burying themselves in the ground like a plant, peeling themselves like an apple skin, or less grotesquely coating themselves with apple-based scents, baths, and products. The intensity of this will eventually make them ask to be returned to apple form. Stand Name: SUGAR TOWN. Destructive Power (E) Speed (E) Range (A) Persistence (A) Precision (A) Developmental Potential (E)

Careless Whisper - This Stand is a pincushion. Filled with numerous blades and spikes, the Stand quickly charges in and embraces a target, crushing them in a manner similar to an iron maiden. Stand Name: CARELESS WHISPER. Destructive Power (D) Speed (E) Range (D) Persistence (A) Precision (E) Developmental Potential (A) Blue Moon - This Stand’s primary ability causes anyone struck by it to start vomiting aqua-colored eggs that eventually hatch into miniature versions of the target. Stand Name: BLUE MOON. Destructive Power (C) Speed (D) Range (C) Persistence (B) Precision (C) Developmental Potential (D)

Paint It Black - The ability of this Stand is to collect grime and uncleanliness from virtually any surface and attach it to a target. This extends from common trash to dead skin cells on the ground, creating its usual mode of attack which is mummifying and suffocating a victim in a mass amount of dead skin cells and hair follicles . Stand Name: PAINT IT BLACK. Destructive Power (C) Speed (D) Range (B) Persistence (A) Precision (A) Developmental Potential (D)

Big Iron - This Stand is automatic and defends its user with the precision of a boxer and the power of a rampaging beast. Its primary ability allows it to duplicate itself, or parts of itself in different locations to protect its user, even forming a barrier of its limbs, or manifesting on another person’s Stand to attack or repel them. This unfortunately creates a problem for the user as the Stand goes berserk and attacks any person that nears the user, regardless of whether or not the user considers them a threat, and Big Iron’s user actively seeks out a way to remove the Stand or otherwise defeat and prevent it from attacking anyone. Through persistent conditioning and the user pursuing actual therapy, Big Iron is trained to be a more efficient guard dog. Stand Name: BIG IRON. Destructive Power (C) Speed (B) Range (D) Persistence (A) Precision (B) Developmental Potential (D)

I'm debating naming this one after the song "Hounddog" by E Lvis, but he's already got two songs that are namesakes for some of the most despicable Stands in this franchise
]]

Time After Time - Its ability is to split the timeline in two. Stand Name: TIME AFTER TIME. Reference: Bonnie Tyler. Destructive Power (E) Speed (E) Range (D) Persistence (A) Precision (E) Developmental Potential (A).

Harlem - It’s ability is to seal, lock, and otherwise barricade entryways with no specified limit, and simultaneously release a substance that gradually affects the sealed-off area and outside of it, breaking down anything that makes contact with it. Stand Name: HARLEM. Destructive Power (C) Speed (B) Range (C) Persistence (A) Precision (A) Developmental Potential (C). Reference: Bill W Ithers' B-Side to Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone, called "Harlem."

Jamiroquai - This Stand causes inorganic surfaces to flatten into smooth, unobstructed surfaces, but can also return them to their natural state to put others in jeopardy. . Stand Name: JAMIROQUAI. Destructive Power (E) Speed (E) Range (D) Persistence (A) Precision (E) Developmental Potential (A)

So now, I've got fun Stand ideas and names. I want the story to be a smaller scale story of Shizuka trying to forge friendships (she's an invisible baby likely sheltered by a super-corporation adopted by a family of Stand users) and survive encounters with dangerous Stand users. Her own ability isn't really combat-oriented so, like Giorno and Jolyne, I want her encounters to be creative and not involve her punching things out, but I also want some dangerous and slick Stand users in there. I themed some of the Stands around identtiy/lack of/doppelgangers/copying/influencing one's identity, and not all of them are listed here. I wanted a lot of them to be themed around Shizuka's own ability, which is making herself disappear, and goal of making friends and have some kind of perversion of that - a Stand that actively shields the user and goes berserk on anyone who gets near them, a Stand that makes you give up on life and become a piece of fruit, a Stand that barricades rooms and isolates people, etc.

That said, I'm bad at actually writing stories out and creating pacing, so this might be a series of oneshots of Shizuka half-fighting/half-dialoguing with Stand users. She would probably have to make a car invisible and ram that into somebody at some point, or make a piece of falling rubble invisible - I loved Josuke's fighting style in Part 4, his power seemed so lame at first until you saw how creatively he used it.

It'll be no Steel B All Run. She's in New York with the Speedwagon Foundation. I don't know New York well. I figured having her be in Central Park would be a convincingly dangerous location for Stand Users to be (though it might be culturally insensitive).

The other hiccup is that in order for this story to take place before the reset, the oldest Shizuka can be is 12-13 years old. Now, young protagonists aren't a problem, but the idea of a Joestar getting bloodied and bludgeoned at 13 is off-putting. Also, sending a 13-year old Japanese girl into New York Central Park is... a comical idea at best.

I'm in Chapter 2 right now, Shizuka is in a situation where she's met a Stand user for the first time but she didn't know other Stand users like her existed... besides her stepuncle Jotaro and Josuke.

What I can't figure is what Josuke would be in relation to her.

  • Joseph and Suzi Q are her step parents
    • Jotaro is Joseph's grandson
    • Josuke is Joseph's son from a different mother
      • Josuke is therefore Jotaro's uncle albeit younger than him due to Joseph's infidelity
  • If Joseph adopted Shizuka then Jotaro would be Shizuka's... foster aunt?
    • making Josuke Shizuka's foster cousin

I also just thought of something interesting while researching step/foster relatives. Shizuka's parents were never located. What if they found a Stand user who found other Stand users and went looking for her?

Just had a thought (actually been thinking of this one for a while) expanding on the scene from Jojos Bizarre Adventure Eyes Of Heaven where Old Joseph prevents the argument that resulted in the death of Ceasar.

After things calm down, Young Joseph, Ceasar and Lisa-Lisa finally have time to really think about what the presence of the older Joseph means, namely that if Joseph actually lives to old age, than they must win their battle with the Pillar-Men. Ceasar gets ironically emboldened by this, but both Lisa-Lisa and Joseph have to calm him down again, by pointing out that while Joseph being alive would mean they win, there's no guarantee all of them make it (the implication being they both suspect that something happens due Old Joseph's reaction to the argument).

I'd also like to write a scene with Lisa-Lisa taking with her son who now looks older than her (and may well be much older too, even if she's Younger than She Looks). I can't remember how older Lisa-Lisa actually is.

That's mostly it for now. Not much else idea wise.
