So far this is kind of underwhelming, but I have hope the plot'll kick in and get good. Blind hope but hope nonetheless.
I feel bad for the headband guy cuz Sachi's exactly my type of girl as well, and well to be frank I have a feeling he's not quite going to succeed.
And er, Okikura Kakeru is a fun name to say.
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueThat's partially why I'm keeping hope. Even if Okada isn't writing this one.
But, in the case of Nagi, Hikari gets good development a few episodes in. Here I hope Touko or probably David will do so.
And no, your goggles are anything but tight, Sachi is definitely gay.
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueIt is indeed heavily hinted that Sachi is romantically interested in Touko. That's one way to make a five person love web... In any case, I also think headband guy is going to fail. Right now Sachi dying is more likely.
Since we're comparing this to NagiAsu, it's rather disappointing that David is yet another hard-to-read, dark-haired, aloof guy mainly existing to move the plot along. Other than that, the show has actually been better than NagiAsu, for me at least. Always nice to get a confession early on and have the recipient respond somewhat reasonably. Hard to tell what they'll do with the seeing-the-future plot thread, though.
Episode 4:
- Yanagi sprained her ankle. If she hadn't, then the major event at the steep road wouldn't have taken place. Kakeru running into her, more specifically.
- Yuki continues to be awkward around Touko, and he gave her something to think about. And then she just happened to see Yanagi and Kakeru. Together. Talk it out like you did earlier. No jumping to conclusions, please?
- Hiro...why're you taking a nap? You're supposed to impress Sachi, darn it! Chances lower a bit more.
Every episode it gets more painful to watch Headband-kun. Asking her out to the movies was a smooth move, but then you go and fall asleep. What the hell are you doing.
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueThat was the funniest scene in the episode! Meanwhile the love quadrangle is getting built, if inelegantly.
Episode 5:
- Touko's so easily flustered when it comes to... everything outside of glass work. Kinda fun to watch. Like calling Kakeru's home, for instance. So serious, she didn't even give Kakeru's dad a chance to say anything until it was too late.
- Nice escape, Hiro. And Sachi didn't rat you out immediately. Your chances are still low, though.
- Yanagi talked to a statue(), and decided to speak her heart out. And she did, on Hinode Bridge. The confession was business-like, though. Guess it's cuz she knows what her odds are.
I still can't buy that Touka fell for Kakeru already, and the Yuki-Yana-Touka love triangle is rather dull, though the rationality in the dynamics of said triangle is appreciated. Yana's comeback at the athletes was amusing too.
Sachi just seems to be playing along with Headband.
Episode 6:
- Here, Kakeru gets a punch and a slap to the face. The price to pay for being vague and blunt...
- Hm? Did Kakeru not want Touko to meet mother or something?
- After using Future Sight a lot, Kakeru has found(realized) what he was looking for: Touko. I wonder if this will spark more conflicts between him and Yuki...
- Yay, mini-fireworks festival that was supposed to be surprise but it didn't pan out that way.
What the heck is Kakeru even doing. Please make a lick of sense.
Episode 7:
- Suddenly, two more Kakerus. Worry not, he's only going through introspections.
- Huh, Yuki's quite a hit. But he's not really shining latelynote , and everyone can see it. So Hina cheered him up(maybe) while riding her bicycle.
- Hiro's sister, what's with the sad look? It doesn't suit you...
- Oh snap! Hiro...he now gets it. He's...disillusioned now. You...messed up, Sachi. And thus, the vision Touko saw some episodes back came to pass... Wow, Kakeru might be right about unchanged futures. Which means he will be taking that fall soon...
- "You make a pretty cute couple." With all the crows appearing out of nowhere, I imagined hearing that with a distorted voice.

Well, David seems he has issues of his own
Sachi x Headband guy is now official. At least it seems to be but Sachi is being a liar and also plotting something. Unfortunately for her, her plan was foiled.
Also, a challenger appears. Good news for Yukinari. Maybe. But Touko has seen David falling and birds attacking.

"If music be the food of love, PLAY ON" - William ShakespeareConsidering that he raised the possibility of the visions not necessarily being of the future, it's likely he took that fall in the past.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Episode 8:
- Well, that was a short conversation between mother and son.
- Yuki's at a summer camp. But he didn't tell anyone, making everyone worry needlessly. But hey, it gave Yanagi a chance to turn into him!
- Hiro, are you hiking for your lost soul?
- Touko's visions are more ominous than ever. Then suddenly, snow. And a kiss.
Episode 9:
- Hm, well, I do believe Yanagi and Yuki are becoming chill with each other.
- Kakeru can't hear the fragments anymore, it seems.
- Sachi invited Hiro and Touko to her secret base. And it was there, under the moon, that she spoke from the heart. I...kinda laughed when Hiro and Touko slowly realized what Sachi was talking about.
- ...At least Hiro now knows what's up?

Episode 10:
- Well, Sachi's plot was resolved quite neatly.
- Clear skies for Yuki and Yana.
- Using a kiss to confirm something. To shake things up. Haha! Also, Jonathan for best wingman!
So, I finally got some time to watch this series. Well, I had seen a few eps while they were new, but only now I got to see the rest.
I find it rather mediocre, in a word. The supernatural bits mostly just seemed tacked on for their own sake, and they didn't add enough for the place they took in the story. Other than that, rather slow but not unreasonably paced. Pleasant to watch, but not great. Nothing that really stood out, and nothing really wrong with it.
Check out my fanfiction!Glasslip wasn't a show whose message is inherently easy to understand; I look back through this thread and notice there are only twenty posts! However, this is not the viewer's fault: Glasslip's theme is explored here. The passage's author remarks that this anime is ultimately about how relationships can lead even close friends to drift apart to an extent, and that Touko is uncomfortable with this even as she wants to pursue a relationship with Kakeru. Perhaps the author's remarks in the supplied link will do a better job explaining things than I will, and I hope that it helps clear up what was going on in Glasslip.

The only resource you need for tropesI thought that was kind of obvious, but it was done rather weakly, wasn't that interesting, and it doesn't work that well to build a story on, as it's kind of a vague, inconclusive concept.
Check out my fanfiction!Truth be told, the passage behind the link offers a touch more insight compared to here.

The only resource you need for tropesIt wasn't particularly hard to understand, like Duck said.
It was just poorly constructed.
Actually, it is very obvious that you and AnotherDuck had considerable difficulty understanding what was going on until you read the article. While courtesy dictates the two of you go thank Infinite Zenith for the article, knowing how tropers here work, I don't expect any more from you than to take credit for what is a very insightful article and pass it off as your own abilities.

Being cleverer than you look is better than looking cleverer than you are.
Episode 3:
So yeah. Share your thoughts from beyond the looking glass.
