That edit reason doesn't stand up to scrutiny. It's not illustrating Stockholm Syndrome, that's true. But since Stockholm Syndrome is a trope that plays out over an (usually extended) period of time, I'm not sure how we could illustrate it.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.They're just sitting there and Beauty And The Beast being Stockholm Syndrome is debatable anyway. Something more like the quote would be better.
I support the pull just because its a bad image. It's well into Might As Well Be A Page Quote territory.
I'd keep it off. It might as well be a page quote. I can imagine how this would be illustrated in like, a few comic panels, but I have no suggestions.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Didn't Eddie say "might as well be a page quote" isn't a good enough argument to take down an image at some point? He definitely said something to that effect, but I may be misremembering the specifics.
Moon◊It did have some specifics attached; as I remember, "a great quote is great".
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanEddie's not fond of the argument, but I disagree. I support the pull here.

I don't see this as a good page quote either; it's basically a dictionary definition of the term. I concur with pulling the image.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I'm fine with it. It's applying the term in a context that many people would recognize.
Barring a better suggestion, I'd say it's a Keep Until Better Image Suggested rather than BUPKIS.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Plus, it would be better suited on A Match Made in Stockholm.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. What exactly is the distinction between Stockholm Syndrome and A Match Made in Stockholm? Is it just a matter of degrees (that is, the latter is limited to full-blown love, the former covers the whole spectrum)?
Moon◊Stockholm Syndrome is about the phenomenon, A Match Made in Stockholm is about couples which occur as a result of the phenomenon.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI thought of something that may make a good image. From "Blame it on Lisa", the Brazil episode of The Simpsons. The scrapbook at the end of Homer with his kidnappers. I'll try to look for it when I get home later.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. This one's definitely a winner pending anything else. I had trouble picking a frame, so I took 4.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I prefer the ones on top, because Homer is holding a book titled Memories (probably a scrap book), so it is clearer that he likes his captors, whereas the bottom two might read as him being happy about something else entirely. Specifically, I like the upper-left one best; Homer's open mouth in the upper-right is better, but the expressions on the captors' faces are kind of lame.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Edit in the open mouth to the top left one?
Check out my fanfiction!Or I can grab another frame. This has the Homer from 2 and the captors from 1.
That works well enough for me. Is there a line of dialogue that would make a good caption?
"Listen, I made a little scrapbook to remember the kidnapping." or maybe "This is that cigarette butt you burned me with."

That first one gets everything across better, although I can live with either.
Clock is set. Crowner?
Sounds like a plan.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Stockholm Syndrome had the panel below from the webcomic Basic Instructions attached (with the caption "They're talking about Beauty and the Beast") but someone deleted it without discussion, saying it wasn't an accurate representation of the trope. Seems to work for me. Shall we restore it, or anyone have something better?
