Give the God Eater game thread some love!I'm honestly starting to wonder if Nozaki is asexual.
Kensexual you fool!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0What do you mean? Asexual characters don't appear in shoujo manga. Perhaps he should go find someone asexual and study them.
Whatever he is, he's about as romantic as damp cardboard.
Is damp cardboard more or less romantic than dry cardboard?
How does he know he's supposed to be romantic when Chiyo isn't his girlfriend? As far as he knows, she's a fan and a co-worker. In classic anime/manga contrivance, he's the kind of dense that needs to be told outright. No one's ever told him she likes him, she's never successfully confessed, and later in the manga she doesn't want to confess anymore because she's afraid it'll end up as Nozaki's manga reference and gets it into her head that she can make Nozaki fall for her by improving her manga skills and hoping he eventually notices her.
Both being mutually boneheaded doesn't automatically make him asexual.
Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.Raws for Chapter 54 are out: Nozaki thirdwheeling Hori and Kashima. Or actually researching those school-at-night stories with them. Hori I can understand, but I have no idea why Kashima is also with him. And of course, even more Ship Tease.
Also on 54 is a little section supposedly to be a conversation between "Yumeno" (i.e. Nozaki) and Miyako on Monthly Shoujo Romance. Turns out Nozaki started writing shoujo manga after reading his little sister's shoujo mag.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaRoelia just released their translation, and I can't find it?
Frankly it's bizarre that Kashima was there. I guess the joke is that she starts to think everyone around her is crazy because they never bother to let her in on the secret (while also never hiding it), but I don't think that's enough to get me to overcome my "why did he invite her in the first place/what did she think they were doing?" reaction.

Wakamatsu was somehow the funniest part of the chapter.
And so Nozaki writes his second yaoi manga.
Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.Best chapter since chapter 52.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.x4 Yeah, that's what I'm wondering, too. Why did he choose Kashima of all people to accompany him? The most likely scenario I can think of is that he was asking Hori, then Kashima overheard it and decided to tag along without knowing what exactly they were doing. But eh, more Hori x Kashima shipping. I'm not complaining about that
Seeing Hori's little blush at scared Kashima just made my shipper kokoro go doki doki

((First post, hi hi.))
I agree that Kashima was most likely there because she overheard Hori/Nozaki and they had no choice but to include her (she probably didn't like the idea of Hori being alone with his other "endearing kohai" lol). Otherwise it's strange since she's still out of the loop about the manga. Idk why he didn't bring Sakura since she does club activities too? :o Same with Wakamatsu.
Suzuki x Love Rival with Mamiko getting neither of them, sounds exactly like a lot of yaoi pairings made from shows with a two-guys/one-girl love triangle lmao
That panel of Hori grinning while Kashima's clinging to him frightened made my day
That's been covered in a previous chapter. Hori is afraid Kashima will follow him to Nozaki's home if she finds out about his work and that her all-female fan club will follow her in turn to "help" her the same way they "helped" her paint drama club props.

Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.Aw, for a minute I thought we'd be seeing Ribbons the Relationship Vampire, but I guess they were just introducing Yukari's friends.
Tanuki.
They cut out the part where Nozaki was deliberately raising bad ideas with Ken to test him.
At least next episode has Wakamatsu the supervillain.

Why does Sakura so offended about modelling Sailor Fuku for Nozaki?
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaThat twin tanuki tail twitch was quite quaint.
Corn soup is terrible though.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Yeah, it got my hopes up for a second. Here's hoping it gets covered within the last three episodes after the next, but it's a slim chance.

Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face. After hearing Maeno complain about Miyako using "too many kanji," I have to wonder how the man got a job as an editor in the first place. It's a shame we probably won't get to see the three other authors Ken had to take over from him.
His incompetence as an editor is the point. He just gets by with good looks and somehow managing to talk his way out of trouble.
Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face. They're trying to include too much chapter in this episode...Why did they cut off Nozaki and Miyako's "date?? That's one of the best chapters!! Also the discussion with Ken-san. Just like the last episode, they cut out the dollhouse part...
Next episode is Seo and Waka's movie date, Suzuki's weakness, and the acting episode. I'm hoping they don't cut the important parts.
Episode 8:
