Well, there has been jokes that the ribbons are the true Sakura and the human is just a host, anyway.

Considering the fact that people don't recognize her with different ribbons...

I was reminded earlier this week about height proportions in Japan at 16yo◊. Which means:

• As I troped, It's nearly impossible to find a boy as tall as Nozaki (190cm).
• Of the main cast, only Mikorin (177) and Seo (163) have normal heights.
• Hori's 164 is clearly lower than average, but he still has the same height as 3% of all 16-yo males.
• Sakura's 145 was surprisingly not as rare compared to Kashima's 176, and only slightly rarer than Wakamatsu's 185.
• The editors have average heights (171 and 176). Yukari's 165 is surprisingly tall.

What year is that from, though? Maybe the heights have changed?

Also, Yukari is slightly older so it's kind of expected she'd be a bit taller than most 16 y.o. (unless I fail biology and height stopped growing at tt 15 or something)

I take vindictive pleasure at the fact that tanuki are several marks higher than Maeno himself in popularity.

On the other hand, Maeno is higher than Tomoda.

This cannot be.

Yeah, I'm not into those vaguely abusive tsun-tsun relationships, but Japan loves them so no surprise for the top two.

I ship Kashima with Every Background Female.

Tomoda deserves to be higher up than those Tanuki or at least Maeno.

If it helps, this old couple poll from /a/ has Suzuki(LOL)/Tomoda in third place, following Seo/Waka and Nozaki/Chiyo.

According to the commentators on the manga, the couple that makes the most progress is...Seo & Waka....go figure.

I don't think they ever show up at the same time much, and wern't an option, but Seo & Hori would have been an interesting pairing actually.

I have read the manga. Most of the progress so far has only been more Ship Tease, but yeah, Seo and Waka do get a lot of chapters together, relatively.

Seo and Waka is the only pairing that really feels like an actual couple to me. Or could be one, at least.
