More annoying questions: What's the difference between Dextyerity and Agility? Does Speech equate to Charisma? And what does Chutzpah signify? Yes I know what in means, but what does it mean in game mechanics?
Trump delenda estDexterity refers to how well you can utilize your hands/feet/tentacles to handle objects. Agility is how quick and agile you are. Speech refers to how well you communicate with others. Charisma refers to how others react to your being. Chutzpah is how willing you are to pull off ballsy stunts and factors into their success (like for instance, your likelihood of surviving barging into a Mob Boss' inner lair and demanding at that very moment a ham sandwich with no pickles and extra mustard).
- Name: Grrd'l Shot'rk but answers to Shlomo
- Race: 3/4 fishman, 1/4 human
- Profession: Scientist with a side of Mad
- Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
- Characteristics (check and make sure I added these up right)
- Strength: 5
- Dexterity: 7
- Perception: 7
- Speech: 3
- Luck: 4
- Agility: 4
- Endurance: 4
- Intelligence: 9
- Chutzpah: 6
- Backstory: G'rrdl/Shlomo was raised, thanks to a joint custody agreement between his Fishwoman mother and half Fishman father both above and under the sea and soon mastered the science and lore of both. Perhaps because of his mixed heritage he's more than a little nuts. His ultimate ambition is to become a giant, float Manhattan into the air and "ride it like a pony" but he settles for smaller things in the meantime (Yeah my spin on this is less than completely serious). Oh, and thanks to the influence of his entirely human grandmother, he's Jewish.
Everything is good about your character besides for one thing: this is a separate reality from our world. Thus, a character has about as much likelihood of being Hindu or Shinto as being Jewish. HOWEVER, seeing as I'm going for not an entirely-serious feel, you can essentially create an expy of Judaism (like how the religion of many stock fantasy settings seems to be Christianity).
Fair enough. As long as he gets to wear a yarmulke I'm happy.

Trump delenda estNo prob. Crystal Dragon Jesus can't have all the fun.
Now that I think there are enough people interested, I'm going to move on over to the "Sign-Ups" forum. Only one problem: there is no name for this little RPG yet. Thus, before I do that, any name suggestions are welcomed. Also, voice any other concerns you have before the sign-up move.
Name: Matt Yew Race: Human Profession: Mage, former? magical knight. Alignment: Lawful good. Strength 3 Dexterity 4 Perception 6 Speech 7 Luck 6 Agility 5 Endurance 4 Intelligence 7 Chutzpah 8
Backstory: After almost being thrown out of the magic academy with a failing grade, Matt managed to make a deal with the board: if he could prove his aptitude with magic before the next school year began, he could get back in. That night he made a deal with the other side:He'd get a magic staff to enhance his magic, and then practice his skill with it by fighting monsters for them until the end of vacation. His plan worked and he was let in (begrudgingly) by the academy, who then instigated a no wishes clause. Later a being from the other side told him the bad news though: Since his servitude was part of his wish, he actually still had to complete his half of the contract. He's 20 now, and they still haven't cashed in.
Okay. The campaign officially starts Thursday night. The title shall be "Shadow of the Moon".

Base 5, Max 10, 5 extra to allot. Other points can be redistributed from other stats (for instance, decreasing intelligence to 4 in order to raise luck to 6).
