Man, I dunno...I like the pic, but there's something compelling about the casual sadism of the current pic.
I don't like either pic very much - the current is merely kicking a dead head and the suggestion looks just like another Warhammer 40,000 supersoldier.

I like current image. ("Kicking a dead head"?! He has a golf ball in his mouth and the figure in the background is about to swing a club. I didn't even assume the head is severed, I thought the rest of the body is buried. Dead faces aren't usually drawn with that much expression.) I do not like the suggestion.

40K is kinda... hard, because EVERYBODY is a Complete Monster. I don't like the current either, though, took me a bit to figure out what was going on.
The second of that doesn't show anything monstrous to me.

The Dread Emperor pic isn't bad, but I wish there was one that was a little clearer...that pic's the only thing I can find. Not impressed by the vampire lord and I agree that the angel looks like she's fighing demons.
