Does anyone remember a show called Animated Tales of the World that came on HBO Family? This series basically had folktales and fairy tales from around the world including Redhill, Cap O'Rushes and The Magic Paintbrush.

If you remembered this series, then what were your favorite stories from this series?

Were they actually all over the world or just Europe, post colonial America, and only popular Asian myths?

Edit: Silly me that's what I get for being an ass and not checking the T Vtropes page. [lol]

For a moment I thought you meant Happily Ever After. Sadly, our local HBO never showed the series you're talking about. I didn't know it existed until today.

Yeah, this series was harder to catch on TV because it didn't have its own programming block like the other HBO Family Shows did. The stories from this show usually show up after one of the other HBO Family programs goes off, so you would have to stick around with a majority of the shows on HBO Family to see the episodes of this series.

YouTube does have some episodes online such as Persephone and Cap O'Rushes.

Yeah, I think that these stories were animated in other countries and many of them do originate from Europe and Asia.
