Suggestion is an improvement.
Even knowing the movie and scene, current still just looks like Explosive Instrumentation to me.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. The suggestion reminds me more of some kind of Restraining Bolt. And I don't think the current is that unclear.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm not pleased with how the electrodes don't appear to be touching Han in the current, but I agree that the suggestion could be confused for Restraining Bolt. I saw a great example of this on an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles over the weekend but I'm not where I can look for the scene right now.
How's this?

Good, if a bit hard to see.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDidn't realize we have that trope... but that page is currently imageless, so is it fine to add it there?
As for this one, I think I f ound a better Star Wars image here◊.
That's good.
That's a good one. Guy with sadistic expression in the background makes it clear its torture, not just guy getting zapped in battle or something.
Bump; any other thoughts on 7? Crowner?
I say that's good as well
Add my vote for 7. I think it illustrates the trope well enough.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMJust took a couple screen captures.
This is probably better, since it actually shows Archer being shocked (but does look a bit weird out of context), though this has more threat to it.
Although, depending on how serious we want the image to be, since Archer is a comedy, it might not work as an example, seeing as the first image is Archer being shocked while goofing off and being a dick during a training excerise, while the context of the second is Archer regretting not taking his training seriously (sorry if that spoiled the Call-Back / Brick Joke for anyone).

14.2 is the only one that works for me. 14.1 is blurry, and the electric sparks aren't that visible. 13.1 and 13.2 is too small and doesn't even show any electricity.
I like 14.2 also.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.14.2 for the already-mentioned reasons.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIf I might toss another suggestion into the ring, recently-released indie game Freedom Planet has a pleasant little scene of electric torture mixed with Forced to Watch about 2/3rds of the way through the game. (Steam community page, direct full-size image link).
Moon◊It's a little unclear compared to other suggestions.
Check out my fanfiction!Seems pretty straightforward to me?
Moon◊Maybe it'd work better if we crop the image to focus on the one being electrified. That said, I don't really like such pixelly graphics, so I'd probably go for the other suggestions.
There's a lot of bright light that obscures what's actually going on, and by how everything is set up it looks like some kind of experiment rather than plain torture.
Check out my fanfiction!I have to agree with Duck on that one; the test tube makes it look more like an experiment, and the retro, pixellated look isn't doing it any favors either.
14.2 is solid, though.
I don't really think it looks more like an "experiment", with the guy staring at her electrocution in horror, and don't really think the pixelation is a concern (if it went onto the page, I'd scale it down to 1:1 anyway; not like I'd upload it at that scale!) but will concede the bright lighting obscuring things comment. Still don't think it's that bad, though; ImageLinks/ at worst.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Well, not a terrible image, but it's too bright and looks more like welding sparks at first glance. I know it was chosen from a previous thread, but it seemed that it was only agreed upon because the other suggestions barely show the electric aspect and GIS shows mostly NSFW images.
Managed to come across an SFW pic that looks clearer than the current. [1]◊
