Range Blaster coming tonight.

The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever.Well, played some Salmon Run today. And I have to say it's quite nail biting this time around. There was this one round where we nearly lost in each wave, but managed to prevail at the very last minute. I got the videos of each close call:
In today's news: Grizzco Blaster is gloriously busted. More at 11.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."I experienced my first hacker in Splatoon 1 a few days ago. I've played since the start, with some off time, and never came across one. It was in B+. I played three battles against him then got knocked down to B... He had to have been a griefer. I could understand cheating at A+ or S- but B-?
Got to get up to S+ somehow.
Reaction Image RepositoryThey'll probably get banned before they reach S-.
Well, there's no S- rank, so maybe that's where all the hackers go when they get banned?
In other news, anyone miss Blackbelly Skatepark? I'm certainly stoked to see it again.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Black Belly Skate Park is returning tomorrow!
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Dude, sweet! It's not Camp Triggerfish, but still noice.
Why did they have to release it the same day Mario Odyssey comes out, though?
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."It almost seems like they go out of their way to release new stuff and/or Splatfests shortly after new game releases.
The maps left that I really want to see back are Flounder Heights, Walleye Warehouse and maybe Piranha Pit.
Anything would have been better to return than Blackbelly Skatepark. Are they making the worst maps from the first game return on purpose (not counting Kelp Dome)?
I'll admit I was never a huge fan of that particular stage (I'd much rather have Saltspray Rig or Bluefin Depot), but at least it's not Ancho-V games.
Reaction Image RepositoryOkay, Ancho-V Games is fine.
I will be a little upset to see Arowana Mall, Mahi-Mahi Resort, and Museum d'Alfonsino back.
I liked Arowana Mall and Mahi Mahi. Pretty ambivalent about the museum.
Reaction Image RepositoryWell at least they're not doing a big Splatfest this weekend. Anyway, Blackbelly is cool, but Walleye Warehouse was the real deal.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Still preferred over Port Mackerel :V
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Well, anything is better than Saltspray.
Games always get a newbie boom during December. I wonder how that'll affect Splatoon 2. I remember for the first game it meant many new players, however since 2 is a sequel maybe it won't be so bad (presuming most people who played 1 didn't already buy a Switch).
Honestly, I doubt it'll be that noticeable. Regular Turf Wars are kind of a crapshoot anyway, and in Ranked most people have already settled into their positions; the new guys will have to work there way up to the higher ranks.
The only one I can think of that might be different might be Salmon Run, depending on how much weight the matchmaking puts on using players of the same tier.
Reaction Image RepositoryIf you were like me and used the .52 gal in the first Splatoon, you loved Port Mackerel.
And I still do in Splatoon 2.
10/10 accurate
Alas I already have a capture device...
